I called Petre to get a GFCI outlet installed in order to outfit my toilet with a Toto bidet. Petre and his son did great work for us, even while we were sheltering in place. When I first called Petre, he made an appointment to see the job that evening. He came in a timely manner and was very well-mannered in explaining what was required and gave us a fair quote. On the appointed day, he came with his son and they did a quick and efficient job. We were very pleased with their professionalism. My only complaint is that I wasn't consulted on exactly where I wanted my GFCI installed. It would've been nice if the outlet was hidden from view.

The photo shows how it could've been more discreet. We're happy with our new luxe throne and look forward to minimizing our use of the elusive teepee. In any case, we're thankful we found Petre and are inviting him back for another project.

Petre and his son, Evo, are a very professional Team and they have performed multiple projects at my home over the past year including upgrading Main Service Panel breakers, replaced Sub Panels, upgrade Pool/Spa electrical equipment, install GFCIs, new exterior and interior conduit, and supporting future renovations. So far, no project seems to large or small...even hanging new lamps and installing light switches! Petre is an electrical engineer who provides the licensed electrician services so you can't go wrong with his knowledge and experience. He enjoys a challenge and figuring out simple solutions to complex problems. I have worked with many electricians and enjoy working with this friendly and professional father-son Team who clearly take great personal pride in each project.

we just had petre out to look at a circuit that was down. through his patience, thoroughness and attention to detail he was able to locate the problem and get it resolved, all with out having to open up walls which is what another electrician had wanted to do. he's knowledgable, charming and priced fairly. would highly recommend him.

I have used Petre three separate times at my house in San Francisco. That in itself indicates the faith and confidence I have in Petre. I first met him when he did electrical work for the company at which I worked in San Francisco. Petre is an electrical engineer by training, and is also a lighting expert (which he helped me with on an a previous job). My house is 90 years old, and not the easiest place in which to work. The most recent job involved trouble-shooting a short circuit I had in my outdoor patio lighting, installing a Nest thermostat on a 70-year-old furnace, and installing an electrical outlet in a closet so I can charge my cordless vacuum. All of these projects sound easy, but they were not. I was home while he worked and saw first-hand the difficulty of completing these projects. It was not easy, but he figured it out, solved the problems, and got it done. Petre is my go-to electrician, and I will definitely use him for every electrical job I have. I recommend him highly!

Two of my outlets stopped working and I had to get them fixed ASAP. I found Petre here on yelp and ultimately went with him after calling a couple of other electricians simply because he was nicest. I called and told him what was happening and he said it sounded like a job that would take less than hour and that he could come the next day. He was caught up on a job and couldn't make it on time but it was fine because he was keeping me in the loop and it's the holiday season, so you gotta give a little slack. When he got to my house he figured out what was wrong in about five minutes and got to work. He needed to replace the outlet and said he had one in his truck and gave it to me, which was very nice. I'm new to owning a home and I had expressed that to him. He asked me if I wanted a little education on what the problem was and how to fix it and I reaaalllllyyyy appreciated that. He fixed everything in less than hour like he guessed he would. After his visit I could sense that he is a very awesome, caring, hard-working man who also did a great job fixing my outlets. I will be using Petre every time I have an issue with the electricity.

Not pleased or satisfied with our most recent experience (we used Petre one time previously). We scheduled our appointment at 8:30 am. At 8:45 we are waiting and had not received a phone call or text. I sent text asking if he had correct address. Half hour later he and his son Evo arrive. No explanation or apology. We felt this was very unprofessional. They installed 3 items. We were not told that we should have purchased a CL dimmer switch for bathroom vanity light. We noticed that it flickers at the dim level we prefer to use in pm. I told Petre he should have informed us that this $30 dimmer switch would do that. If he had told us I could have returned it to Home Depot and purchased another one. Now it's too late to return and get refund so we are stuck with the flicker. We will not be using his services again. While he seems like a nice guy, he loves to talk and its difficult to break away from him. I prefer an electrician who comes on time and does a professional job without taking up my time

Petre is the Electrical Whisperer. We had a mystery circuit at my house that two different electricians and another contractor couldn't figure out with several hours of time invested; Petre figured it in under an hour, did the testing, and clearly explained the whole thing. This guy is a cut above.
