In 1969, Joe Petranka started his journey as an electrician in Montgomery, Alabama mentored by Griffin T. Key PE. He earned his Master Electricians Certificate in 1977 and worked for over two decades designing and managing the installation of electrical systems rated for up to 15KV. He was a pioneer in the introduction of energy-efficient lighting solutions and network installations using copper and fiber in the River Region back in the 1970s and 1980s.
