i ordered a spa from spa manufacturers and they referred me to peter lontakos to have a 220v 50amp circuit installed at my home. i had a late day appointment set up for a friday afternoon. they called and wanted to come out a bit earlier but i could not get off from work so we kept our 3:00 pm appointment. when i drove up to my home at 3pm, two electricians were waiting for me and then to my suprise two more showed up to help! it was like watching a well oiled machine at work. one tech did the panel work, one went into the attic to feed the wire to the rear of the home. another installed the spa panel at the rear of the home. another helped the other three! it could not have gone better! polite, courteous, professional and of course they cleaned up when they were done. i couldn't be happier.

I've tried several other electricians never received the great service I did from this company they offered to come ahead of schedule. And were very courteous and professional I would recommend for anyone looking for electrical work

A complete waste of time. Peter absolutely has not followed thru on the commitment he made nor does he return phone calls. Has been two weeks since coming out to my home to perform a survey in order to prepare an estimate. Still have not received the estimate that was to have been provided early the following week and worse not even the simple courtesy or a return call to several inquiries as to where the estimate stands. Would hate to think what would have happen had he been hired. Sad part is he came highly recommended. On the bright side he did recommend and outstanding restaurant during his survey. Grateful for at least that!

I was referred to this company by Hunter for a warranty issue with their ceiling fan. Peter Lontakos came out on 12/29/17. He determined I was to get a new receiver at which time they said they would order it and replace it once it arrived. They would charge Hunter for the service call and it would be no charge to me. I have left 3 messages and they have not returned my call. It is now 01/29/18 and I still have no repaired fan. According to Hunter, he has never placed an order for the part.

Good, honest electrician.
I live in a house built in 1956--a certified classic Florida block home. Second house built on this street, in fact. Back then, the electrical in homes was not grounded and because the fine folks who lived here never updated ANYTHING, the house has zero 3-pronged electrical plugs. Take a look at your electric belongings, and you'll see that many of them required a grounded outlet.
Enter Peter Lontakos Electrical. Called the guys on late Friday and they came out first thing Tuesday. The job only took about 30 minutes. The service rep, David, was super friendly and cleaned up before he left.
I replaced one regular 2-slotter from 1956 and added a brand new outlet in the kitchen, which required some cutting and drilled. Total price was less than$125. Well worth it because now I can plug in more than two items in the kitchen.
I've got a few more electrical wants to check off of my wish list, and I will definitely be calling these guys.
I know what you're thinking. These aren't extremely difficult tasks, so why didn't you do them yourself, Mark? No way, José. People should know their limitations, and I drawn the line at everything that involves electricity and live wires. I'm not getting sizlle-fried and ending up on that million ways to die show. Somethings are best left to the pros.
