Really depends sometime the guy they send out . I've giving up on this company way over priced and they don't always do things the correct way. I feel when they installed my unit they saved time and made air handle output match my plenum when they should have made my plenum bigger this cause lots of condensation then mold

The company that bought out Absolute Zero answers the phone number associated with the original owner, Steve, and does not identify the fact that it is now Performance Air Conditioning Electrical and Plumbing. In fact, they didn't even mention it until I remarked that Steve has really gone upscale with the music and canned greeting- (which, by the way, still did not mention the new name). I needed immediate service for my air handler, and Gordon came out right away and determined that it was the fan motor and he would either be back to replace it that afternoon or the next day, July 3. I the meantime, he also was selling me on their membership plan which seemed like a good deal to me at the time, but never left me a copy of the contract.
By 4:30 on the 3rd, no one came or called, so I called and spoke to Michael and he assured me that they had the motor and someone would be back the next day (which was July 4th) and was given a window of 12:00 to 4:00. I also mentioned that I did not get a copy of the membership contract and questioned if there was a 3 day cancellation clause in it, as is typical in contracts, and he said the person coming out the next day would bring it. I was skeptical about them coming out on the 4th, called back and Michael assured me that yes- someone would be here. No one showed up so I called and spoke to a woman who told me that I was not on the schedule and that the motor was not in. I called back and spoke to Michael and told him that I considered the order and contract cancelled. I also texted them at 4:25 on July 4th to confirm my phone conversation with them due to the fact that they did not show up (and I was lied to), that the order/contract is cancelled.
They never got back to me, but yesterday, July 30, I received a note presumably from Absolute Zero claiming to be Steve- the original owner- saying it was time for my air conditioning tune-up. It had the same logo and original address as Absolute zero with a P.S. ""Great news, our recent merger with Performance is allowing us to offer..."" After digging into this, I found out it was NOT a merger! As Tamara H stated: buyer beware!
BTW- I called 'I Care Air Care' and will be using them from now on.

Worst service I have ever had since I have owned my house(25yrs). A/C install took over a month due to wrong parts & incompetent installers. They lied about putting in the new breaker, so I didn't pass 1st inspection. Why order the inspection if you knew it would not pass? They put me off for over 5 weeks, wouldn't return calls & continued to lie. Twice they came out to install the breaker & each time, they said they had the wrong part.(To make due they used twist ties to prevent something they could not explain. This is electricity/power they were messing around with!! My home!) After they finally said they had installed the right breaker I called in my own electrician who said they had installed a bad breaker! He installed another & I had to pay for it. DO NOT choose this company. This was my 2nd attempt with them & both times they did a terrible job & it cost me more money. As a senior, I feel they took advantage of me. Shame on you!

Do not call this company! I scheduled an appointment for an AC service and heating repair before a home inspection, so time was of the essence (and they knew this). They called me 7 minutes before my appointment window and explained they have received RECENT calls from their ""exclusive club"" members that needed service, so my appointment would need to be rescheduled. So unless you are part of their exclusive club, just be warned that you are NOT IMPORTANT to them. I certainly would have searched for another company if I would have known this upfront. They wasted my time!

I called Absolute zero AC company and what was never explained to me is that Performance air-conditioning had taking over the other company. That should have been explained. I only learned that at time the service tech gave the invoice. Tech showed up and started to explain how I benefit and should buy a membership and kept going about the membership. I changed the subject to what was going on with the system and how much the fix would cost. Tech said, he couldn't be sure due to freon and a leak and couldn't give me a ball park number. Never did the tech mention the age of the unit which is 6 years old with permit and installed by licensed AC company. Never did the tech bring up if the unit had still a parts warranty or ask me if there ever was an issue with the unit which never happened. Too many red flags so I thanked the tech and told him to leave it as is. Later, my tenant emailed me the invoice for the service call and the tech had written on the invoice to discuss a more efficient AC unit...are you kidding me! 2014 unit that never broke down, new thermostat, etc. and was working but not cooling as it should and not able to give me a ball park amount, but starting about membership and replacement unit...buyer be ware!

We're signed up to a plan with Performance Air so called then when our air conditioner stopped working. It was late on a Friday afternoon and we were able to book an appointment for Saturday morning. Our technician, Bull, was new to us. He was super-competent, patient and courteous. It turned out to be something that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Thank goodness. I would hate to be without air here in Florida, plus we have guests coming next week. I would recommend them highly for sure.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with this unreliable and unprofessional company. I spent $500 on a repair to my AC unit and 10 hours later I had no Air Conditioning. When I called distressed the answering service begrudgingly took my call and was extremely rude. The service technician showed up the following day and charged a $25.00 service charge after I'd spent $500 the day before for a 6 month diagnostic check. I've called multiple times to bring my dismay to their attention and can never reach Ben the service manager. Ben, has yet to return my call and this is going on nearly a week. Bad business and horrendous customer service. Save your time & money and choose another Air Conditioning company.

Buying a new whole house HVAC system can be financially scary and very overwhelming.  The comfort care advisor and install technicians were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, to ensure we understood the many options available, and that we were purchasing the best air quality product for our home.  But with all things, nothing runs smoothly. There was a slight miscommunication as to the UV system which we agreed to purchase and thought it was part of the initial pricing.   Jeremy and Chris worked with us and in the end, we could not be happier;  and,  yes, we did purchase the UV pristine air system.  Thank you, Performance A/C, Electrical & Plumbing, we can now stay cool under pressure, at least in our home.  P.S. Don't forget the membership, that is a no brainer.
