WORST COMPANY EVER!!! New A/C installed 11/13/2020. The company has been back 7 times for sub standard work. First the blower would not shut off. Installed on the 11/13, a few days later had to send the installers back, fan would not shut off. Tech spent the whole day trouble shooting over the phone and reading through a text book. Had to schedule another appointment for someone else to come out, who spent another full day replacing the blower and mother board. Turned out they needed to connect a wire from the thermostat to the unit. When it turned cold in January I used the heat for the first time. First it would kick on to warm up then the A/C would kick on and cool it back down. Another trip from another service person, after a few hours discovered The heat pump was never connected. Called for the inspection, which did not pass because of a wire that needed to be upgraded. Waited over a month for them to come out and correct problem for reinspection. Finally they returned with another part for the a/c unit, apparently they installed the wrong heating coil, the one they installed was for a 2400 sq foot home, I live in a 1200 square Villa. What was really outrageous is they new they installed the wrong part. They decided to replace that because it was easier then upgrading the wire! With your new install you receive two service calls to make sure your unit is running properly. The text did the service and told me when they installed they changed the a/c unit with to much refrigerant he recycled some back out. Less then 2months later, came to 81 degree house. Another call for service, tech showed next day only to tell me I was low on refrigerant and some how the last tech screwed up the valve that regulates the refrigerant going into the house! OMG the level of incompetence is staggering!! Just got home after an 18hr shift and guess what 80 f--cking degrees in my house!!!!! Have made yet another call for service. I can't believe this.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, I can't understand how they are still in business.

Had them look at my air conditioner and was told I need a specific service to the unite and after it was done the unite still did not work properly. I had another company go in and was shocked when they told me the the service I paid for($708.) was not even done. I sent the video that the second company did to the supervisor and I left many messages for the supervisor to call me and he never did.

I had Performance Air fix my 2yro central unit bc it needed a new coil. Within a couple wks they sent out a tech to preform a service cleaning that left a terrible oder when fan only was on & when cooling was on the smell IS still there but faintly.. Now.. My POINT IS that b4 the ""CLEANING"" there wasn't any orders coming thru my system.. Now on the day of ""CLEANING"" the tech was trying to sell me a ULTRA LIGHTING ANTI GERM..MOLD..MILDEW System & when I called to report the oder the tech called me back claiming that the system he was telling/trying to sell me is what would take care of that.. I asked WHY would I need to buy that when my unit already has one & didn't have an oder before he came.. The conversation went no where & Performance denying any wrong doing.. I gave it some time hoping it would fade away but a couple months later it's still there.. So I call with same complaint NOW I probably have something dead in my ductwork.. Ok so I have a rodent chk.. And as thought no rodents detected.. So now my house must have an oder bc their cleaning & germicide isn't the problem..
Bottom line... No oder problems before said cleaning.. Now an oder thats NOT going away & they are denying any responsibility.. Now other customers have complained about this same thing after ""CLEANING"" was preformed.. My suspicion is they're setting it up to sell you something you DON'T need.. What ever they sprayed into my system is taking a hell of a long time to go away. I will be filing a BB complaint on these people. And I don't want to give this company even 1 star but this won't post unless I do SO WHAT DOES THAT SAY FOR THEM.. They don't deserve a star

HORRIBLE!!! Choose another company!! Oct 7, 2020, their AC worker tripped over and broke off a fire sprinkler suppression line causing 24,000 gal of pressurized water to flow through three condos, resulting in over $1 million damages to the three condo units: mold abatement, demolition, storage fees, restoration and now stalled rebuild. All three units are still down to 2x4's , completely gutted and this is 7 months later!! Performance AC said"" They would make us whole again"" well, they have completely failed in that regard and their insurance carrier refuses to discuss the claim with all of the homeowners and has now referred their obligations to a legal entity to continue the non-response causing endless delays and mounting storage and relocation rental fees. We have NO choice as homeowners but to give this company an absolutely poor review based on the totality of the circumstances. We simply want our home back!! Performance AC and their insurance carrier American Zurich and McLarens and Network Adjusters need to step up and make this right as three condo units still remain destroyed!! Warning!!! This company takes advantage of the elderly. Charged my 74 year old mother over 400$ for a thermostat. Had 2 put in years ago for 150$. Guy also said he honored a 100$ coupon which would have put the true cost to over 500$. this was supposedly the ""most inexpensive"" thermostat they have and the manager slipped up when called saying they go as high as 300! Do not use. save your money. They failed to even tell her the price prior to doing the work. Which again wouldn't have happened to someone younger.

This company installed my A/c units 4 years ago and when I needed them to order a part from Trane because only a licensed company can do that , they ordered from the model number that was in my file . It was the wrong one , next time it got lost in their warehouse , and the next time it was the wrong one . I was then told to get another company to do as they had spent to much time on it . I was charged $27,730 for these units to be installed and because if their incompetence, tell me to go to another company ? I have already paid them for the part as well and still can't get a refund .

BE VERY AWARE of Performance Air and Velocity Air. They quoted $5000.00 and 2500.00 for repair. Was repaired by Lloyd's Air Conditioning for $250.00. Running smoothly. He actually showed me what he was doing, was honest and knew how to troubleshoot. My unit is 7 years old Rose T

I called performance air conditioning out in the my ac was running continuously they came out said there was a air flow problem my options was a two thousand and something dollar repair or a new unit we decided to do the repair the repair did nothing to fix the problem so now they sold us on a new unit which was $11,000 supposedly getting credit for the $2000 repair they came out put in the new unit still was not cooling off and they are still continuing to run with an electric bill of over $600 called Performance back out the technician came out and said that it was blowing all the right temperature and they would charge us to come out again I've continued to pay over $600 for my electric bill no improvement in my electric bill and the house is not getting to temp I have the same result with the new unit as I had with my old unit only for performance to come out now inform me I need all new duct work cause there's gaping holes At this point I dont believe the unit was the problem it was only 5 years old I needed ductwork not a new AC. I'm waiting on Ben to contact me with a solution which from the track record it going to be more money out of pocket

This is the worst customer service ever. New to the area, I called them from a sticker on my a/c unit. They said they would arrive to fix my a/c, the next day between 8-10. I called at 11. They said the window was actually 8-12. ( I had put the hours in my phone that had been given to me). I called again at 1. They said, ""we are sorry, we can't get to you today and will have to come out tomorrow"". Were they ever going to let me know this??? I had to call them. I asked if they could come first thing in the morning and they said, ""we can't make any promises"". I told them never to contact me again. Of course they did, for a service plan! Are you kidding me? I got zero service. Well I decided to find someone else and happy I did. I called Arctic Air and they got someone out same day.
