I was a total skeptic... I thought for sure I would be overpaying and that I would have wasted the fee just for them to come by. I was totally surprised! Anthony and Cesar were super professional, they took the time to explain every detail to me and the pricing was very fair. I even requested a quote for another job. Awesome company...

OMG!!! I can't believe I found true tradesmen in pompano. I have had my electric required from scratch but never worked well though it passed permitting inspection. Perfect came in and BAM! The professionalism and knowledge floored me. I have had to pay twice over for all the previous work done because anyone who can carry a hammer seems to think themselves a skilled tradesman. This is not the case with Perfect Electric. I am gritty with happiness to have found Ceaser and Anthony. God bless them and me:)

In May 2016 we used our tax refund to purchase some new kitchen appliances to replace the ones that were starting to have a steady stream of things going wrong with them. While the delivery had it's own issues, the major one was the slide-in range. While the one the new one replaced had it's problems, it did work but the new one didn't. We had the repair technician's out to fix it but when they left, it still didn't work because of a problem with our power and told we needed to bring in an electrician to fix it.
Oh great...been down this road before and because of our previous experience, we knew we were starting at square one. My husband starting browsing the Yellow Pages and of those listed, he chose Perfect Electric because they had a BBB A+ rating and of the reviews he read they were all positive so we took a chance and scheduled an appointment. Yes, we did have to pay money for them to come out but was told that money would be applied to any work they may wind up doing. Since I am not an electrician, I had no clue if what we were told is the problem actually was and since this is an older structure, what else are they going to find and how much will it wind up being.
The night before our scheduled appointment, we received a call to remind us of the appointment. Anyone living in So Fla knows that while it is a good sign, it is still not a guarantee they will show up but I was trying to be optimistic.
The next day at the appointed time, the doorbell rings and there they are. I explained to them the situation and let them take it from there. After a few tests they basically confirmed what we were told by the repair person, knew what needed to be done and got to it. They explained what they were going to do and explained it in such a manner I didn't feel talked down to. While they were working on things I asked a few questions and realized they had a wealth of knowledge which gave me a certain comfort level that would normally take a few visits.
When they finished, they made sure the stove and ovens worked and even shared a few tips before their first use we were not aware of but turned out to be correct. I read an earlier comment on Yelp concerning their pricing and practices which we didn't experience. The pricing I thought was fair and comparable...they did deduct the amount we had already paid from the final bill. They were very professional while at the same time also personable.
When it comes to reviews/recommendations, I base things on the answers to a few questions: 1) at the end of the day, was the total price paid to fix our problem worth it or did we pay too much, 2) if we had to do it over again would we still call Perfect Electric or try to find someone else, and 3) if we had another electrical problem or project to be done, would we call Perfect Electric or maybe see who else was out there?. The answer to all 3 is ""Definitely"". They were upfront and honest with everything (including the potential cost) and explained what needed to be done and why, I feel their cost was comparable to others we've had do work in the past, and they not only showed up but they showed up on time and didn't drag things out. I'm glad we took the chance on them and would do it all again. BUT...would we use them again? Absolutely and without hesitation!

Kevin and Cesar did a great job of rewiring my ceiling fan. That sounds like a small job, but the original wiring was so mishandled that it was a fire waiting to happen! I was extremely happy with not only the work, but their speed and cleanliness while doing the job.

I recently purchased a house and needed some electrical work done. I hired perfect electric to perform the job due to its great reviews. I must say that Kevin and Cesar were very friendly and professional. I found the price they charged was fair and they did a great job. I will recommend them to anyone who is looking for good and honest electricians. I was very happy with the work they did and will hire them in the future. If you need work please call perfect electric you won't go wrong..

We had a problem with the sprinkler time clock refusing to shut off the water during the heavy rains on May 4. By 11pm it was causing a small flood. Thankfully it shut off by itself but panicked me enough to do a serious electrician search. I went with this company based on the yelp reviews. Bad mistake. MH husband was home so I can't rate actual service - I dealt only with Nicole. Anyway, my problem is with the cost and policies, not the service provided.
I was told that it was a non-negotiable $69 dispatch fee that would be deducted from the service charge. I was not thrilled to be charged $69 for the drive to my house but ok. I thought it might not be much in total. Then I found out after the fact that we were charged a further $110 to have our sprinkler time clock checked and reset. Really??? Feels like highway robbery - for work that took half an hour -
Lastly, I found this morning that without even the courtesy of a heads-up, my card was charged again by them. I have never had this experience with any other company. Nor did Perfect Electric state that this was their policy and practice. According to them, they never do. Thanks for sending me a receipt but honestly, tell me that this is what you do, and what you are doing BEFORE you do it. I am seriously disappointed.

I call Monday morning to have a technician come out to look at an overheating service panel. Kevin and Caesar were at my home that day. When they arrived, they were both polite and attentive. I knew the work that needed to be done. I also knew that it was a job that would take several hours to complete. After I was given an estimate, I asked when they could fit me into the schedule as I had no electricity at this point and they said that they would do it that night. They did the job and stayed beyond normal working hours to complete the job that night. I am very happy with their work. They were polite through the entire process even though it was late. I would be glad to recommend them to anyone as well as the company. The prices were fair even though it was a late night call. The work was done correctly, neatly, and as quickly as possible. Thank you once again.

Back in 2011, we had just bought a new (older) house, but realized that the electrical wiring needed to updated and upgraded. We chose Perfect Electric to perform this work. Perfect Electric installed a new weather-head and meter box, replaced all of our house's interior wiring, installed an upgraded 200 amp circuit breaker box, as well as replaced all of the switches and outlets in the house. All of this work was performed as planned, on time, and on budget. Needless to say, we were very pleased with our decision to choose Perfect Electric for this work.
Recently, we needed to replace two outside service disconnect boxes (AC and sprinkler pump) with newer circuit breaker boxes. Again we called Perfect Electric, spoke to Nicole, and made an appointment to get an estimate for this work. Electricians Kevin and Caesar arrived right on time, looked over the situation, gave me their estimate, and said that they had the parts they needed on their truck. They said they could start immediately and be finished in a half hour. I gave the go-ahead, they started work, and they finished in 30 minutes.
Again, we are very happy with our decision to choose Perfect Electric. I highly recommend them to anyone needing quality electrical work. They're the best!

As a part of sprucing up my home I decided to change all of my lighting to LED along with installing new dimmer switches. Of course, being well armed with Ivy League PhD in physics I'd certainly be capable of screwing in a couple of light bulbs and hooking up a couple wires on dimmer switches. So it was off to Light Bulbs Unlimited to pick up some LED bulbs and then to Lowe's to get some of the new CL-LED certified dimmer switches.
So far I so good, or so I thought. I easily replaced bulbs but when I opened the dimmer packages, oh my gosh, there was a huge sheet of instructions, near the size of a newspaper, and the switches had not just two or three wires but five. Though the five wires on each were all color coded, that, with myself being color blind would do me no good at all. So, before I royally messed things up or did something that would end up burning my house down, I needed professional help.
As always, when in need, I turned to Yelp where I quickly came up with Perfect Electric, a Yelp Five Star rated electric service. I gave them a call, paid their advanced appointment charge of $69.50 to later be deducted from any service charges. At the time of my appointment, not one but two gentlemen showed up, both of whom were super friendly, polite and knowledgeable about what they were doing. Within a matter of moments, mission accomplished, they had my dimmer switches installed and working properly charging me only their minimum service fee while deducting what I had paid in appointment charges. The fact that they showed up on time and made such quick work of things really impressed me, so much so, I'm going Five Stars for them too.

They live up to their name: PERFECT! Professional, Punctual, Polite. I give Cesar and Kevin a perfect 10 out of 10 for changing out a light fixture and ceiling fan for me. Great job guys!!!
