Sergio is excellent. Great communication, reasonable price, professional, fast, skilled work. Repaired a door and a wall heater in the time it would have taken me to find my toolbox. Estimate was accurate and he showed up exactly on time. Highly recommended.

Sergio was great! I had a glass sliding patio door that was sluggish to open/close and appeared to have broken wheels. I called a variety of handymen. No one was willing to help me. I guess because the job was considered ""small"". I am pretty handy around the house, so believe me I would've done it myself if I could. That sliding glass door has double panes and over 60 pounds. Sergio was willing to come out and help me. He was punctual. He was able to get the job done relatively quickly. I highly recommend him. I plan on using him again for a variety of jobs ""big or small"" around the house.

I am an out of state landlord so it's always nerve wracking to try to hire someone for my house in San Diego. I had two handymen flake on me before I found Pelayo. The 5 stars on his yelp account definitely helped me feel comfortable. Sergio was on it. He responded right away to my yelp contact request. He was persistent and attempted contact three times with my tenant before reaching her and then was able to go out the very next day. The repair was completed within the timeline that he quoted even though it ended up being more extensive than he originally thought from the description. I will definitely contact him for future repairs on the property.

We're new to San Diego and are glad we found Pelayo Handyman Services! So far he's installed two bathroom fans/lights in our home and helped us locate a hard to find part for our bathtub faucet. I felt his prices were fair and competitive compared to others in the area. He was also very professional he got the job done quickly. I will definitely call him back with any additional issues we may have and for future upgrades we're planning in our new home.

I recently discovered my wood floors discolored around the toilet based and yelp around a few companies Pelayo Handyman Services gotten back to me quickly. Five plus stars on communication although he didn't work on our bathroom due to the urgency of the nature but he understands the importance of home owners problems.

Sergio is awesome! We had wanted some custom fence and door. He did exactly what we had wanted and helped improve things along the way! Made great suggestions about why something would and wouldn't work, which I very much appreciate since I don't know anything about home improvement.

Will have him back soon for more projects!

Sergio Pelayo and his assistant Jorge just finished three weeks of work on our bathroom remodel.
They did absolutely top quality work.

They are professional and organized. Every day they arrived promptly at 8 o'clock. They were personable and easy to work with, and kept a steady pace all day. They had great attention to detail... I told Sergio he is more picky than I am LOL. In addition every day they completely cleaned up all their tools and left the floor and everything else in pristine condition For the next day.
Another thing I really liked is that Sergio will tell you if he is not comfortable doing a particular job rather than just trying to bull through it.
He also clearly has a lot of experience in construction and is familiar with a lot of issues that come up.

This review is based on the customer service, since we actually didn't get any service from this handyman. We called and left a voice message, no call back at all. I think it is because my husband talked about things that we want to get done in the voice message, they are small repairs, I guess they are too small, so no call back. Sure, no problem, taking business else where.

I was having a very difficult time finding a handyman that would respond timely and follow through. Until Pelayo Handyman Services. Sergio followed through, showed up when he said he would, and completed my repairs needed. My tenant shared how nice, friendly, and efficient he was. Making this a 2 part review. First one is for the wonderful customer service he provided just answering the phone and booking an appointment. He was my 3rd attempt at booking these type of services and by far the most knowledgeable and friendly. I'll review again after the services have been provided.
