In 2000, I visited California for leisure. I was employed as an Electrical lead for Raytheon System Engineering located in Micronesia. I was captivated by the climate plus the richness of the community in the area, it was amazing. I was already a licensed electrician in two additional states and had been the past two decades, so the transformation was fairly easy. I completed my tenure with the company and came back in the year 2001, where I was employed here as an electrician for Parrott Mechanical, as I preparing for the state licensing exam for electrical contractors, and I successfully passed the first go and formally went into business, specifically on December 21, 2001. This marked the beginning of Peebles Electric Service. I’ve never experienced any hesitations about that choice. I am passionate about my trade and a deeper motivation to please my clients, and that alone has been my driving force in such a rewarding & competitive industry. I appreciate it! for your support, G. Peebles.
You can call me Gordon Peebles. I started in the electrical field commenced at the age of eight. I was always curious about the mysteries of electrical systems. My 3rd grade teacher introduced me to a children's club called the 4-H organization, which focused on electricity. I explored electricity for four years and then interned with the neighborhood electrician on the weekends for hands-on experience, after that later in secondary school for four more years earning a credential in Electricity. After high school, I landed a full-time role as an trainee electrician where I acquired the expertise of operating electrical equipment, installation and applications, interpreting blueprints and diagnosing systems. Subsequently, I took a 2-year course at Sumter Area Technical College in: Electrical Maintenance Technology and the state electrical exam, resulting in two journeyman certifications, one from the state of SC and Massachusetts. Three years later, I was admitted to M.I.T. and received an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. I am honest, fair, & dedicated.

So sorry to post, but I had an apt with Peebles Electric and they did not show. Apt was scheduled more than 7 days in advance.
Unable to connect by phone or text. Will have to contact someone else.
Mr Peebles is a treasure! Quick response and super efficient. Didn't just fix it but tested all sorts of things. - including going in the crawl space! - to find the actual cause of the problem. Highly recommend!
Mark O.Mr. Peebles is one of the best in this town, bar none! We were impressed with his work and demeanor. Laid back but efficient! Well organized in the manner in which he worked, as well. AND! His costs were half of what practically everyone else was charging around here; without licenses. He is a licensed electrician, as well.
Paula B.I join the chorus of Highly Recommend. One of my ancient hard-wired smoke detectors started failing at midnight, and chirped all night. Fortunately, it didn't go all out, but still . . . And I figured if one was failing, the others would follow. I called at 6 this morning, Gordon was here by 11:30, and it was all taken care of within two hours. Very professional and efficient.
Annette M.Gordon and his son came right out to fix an electrical line that was damaged by our Landscaper. We didn't have power for our frig in the garage, garage door & lights. We lost over $200 in food. We went on NextDoor asking for suggestions on Electrician. Peebles Electric Service popped up with a few others. Gordon answered our request with a few minutes of posting it. They were going to come out on Saturday, but asked if they could come right over. After trouble shooting the problem, it turned into a fairly easy fix. Thanks to these two we were up and running with 2 hours of our request for a electrician. We will use them again.
Maria S.I hired Gordon and his son to come add in and install a 220 V electrical outlet in my garage.
He answered the original request immediately and gave me a very fair price. He was able to schedule the service within two days of my request which is pretty amazing compared to the other responses I was getting.
Upon arrival they were extremely professional arrived on time and did a great job with the service.
I would definitely hire them again for electrical work and would recommend them!
We've talked about having some electrical work done in our garage for years...and then we needed it done! We found Gordon of Peebles Electric on Nextdoor and reached out. He called me within 30 minutes and we set-up an estimate time. The work was done the next day for half the cost of another quote, and done well...exactly what we wanted done. Gordon, and his son, were both professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, and the price was very fair. He's also a very interesting person to talk to :-). Will use Peebles Electric Services going forward, and can highly recommend!
He responded and scheduled an 11- noon window but never showed, never called or texted. I contacted him numerous times by phone and text with no response. We stayed home the entire day waiting for his response and unfortunately had visitors who would have loved to get out and enjoy the Bay Area. Don't depend this company.
Darlene W.Gordon was great! He responded quickily, he was very professional, and provided me with an updated energy efficient lighting! I highly recommend Peebles Electric LLC. Services! I will continue using their service for all of my electric needs!! Their pricing is very reasonable and budget friendly!
If you need electrical work done call Peebles Electric LLC!!
I am not an employee, but I am a real person who is objectively a person who received outstanding service and repairs!!
I do not recommend hiring Gordon. Especially when his license has expired on 12/31/2021.
He started off great. He knows his stuff and can definitely talk. He did a small job for me fine but when it came to installing recessed lighting, he bailed 5 times on me. ( once due to illness and once due to delay from other work supposedly).
He even had me get the permit because they supposedly charge him more for (not true). He was very unhelpful during this time and the permit failed twice. The second fail, he even tried talking to them and said he understood what needed to be sent only for it to fail. Then later pulls out the ""this is why contractors pull the permit"" card when this was all his idea. This was stressful but glad the permit was under my name so switching around was easy.
If you do hire him, I caution the payment. Pay him in full AT THE END. He charged me $600 upfront for deposit, 500 initial, 500 after. I only paid him $600 (not to be seen anymore), and by the 5th bail, I didn't even want him to do the work. He doesn't contact me back, just flat out ignored me. Oh, and lastly, one of the bailed reasons was because the shipment didn't get to the store....what kind of professional doesn't have all the materials prepared ahead of time? That's rediculous.
