Worst electric company in Texas. High rates, awful customer service, idiotic communication chalked. Just big losers and liars.

Had to have our power pole moved. It's taken two weeks to get done, amidst blatant lying and general ineptitude. Today two trucks and seven men showed up to dig the small hole. What inefficiency and waste. No wonder their rates are sky high.

Completely disgusted in our first month as a customer. If you have another choice of electricity provider, don't chose PEC.

Holy crap. The most expensive electric company I have ever had. We use our system MAYBE one week total out of the month. When we had an account with another energy company, it was rare to even hit 60 dollars. When it's cold outside we bundle up inside, when it's warm outside our thermostat is still on 80. We've always saved money that way. My bill is ATLEAST 80 dollars every time. And when I call the customer service lady she tells me, ""80 dollars that's pretty good."" FOR ONE WEEK OUT OF THE MONTH? Can't imagine if we actually used it all month long. The crap part is they're the only company so they can continue charging like that.

I had service a few years ago at a different address (never delinquent), A few months ago, I go to setup my account at a new address,and they need a new account fee and a deposit? I asked why, and she said well your credit isn't perfect. Ok, it's in the high 600s, but what the heck does that have to do with me being a past customer and never being late on my payments to them? And a new account fee? Well because they have to create a profile. Hello, I already have a profile on your system. Well they still have to charge it. PEC Co-Op is also anti-gun because they have posted 30.06 and 30.07 signs at their Marble Falls location I know. Too bad there is no competition because they are a co-cop.
