They showed up on time and diagnosed the problem, which Rocky was able to explain in clear and simple language. He provided a number of options for us to consider, and was professional. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Peaden used to be so good but it's been a totally different experience this year. They failed me in every way. They didn't show up the day that was scheduled, didn't call me to let me know they weren't going to show up on the day scheduled, couldn't diagnose the problem on the first service call, spent $200 for repair that didn't fix the problem and then topped it off by giving me the run around about why I was skipped the day that was scheduled for the 3rd service call. There was literally no aspect that was good service except that the repairmen were friendly and very polite. I wish friendly could make up for the wasted time and money but unfortunately it can't.

Had a new toilet that needed to be installed before mother-in-law came to town. After doing the traditional call around with no call backs, Peaden answered the phone and the toilet was installed 3 hours later. The downside? You pay way too much for the install. The tech was great and the work was superb. The fee was robbery.

We are new to Milton and we woke up at 7am on a Sunday to flood in our yard. We called our home warranty to finally be told after an hour that the leak wasn't covered. We called a few places that didn't return our calls. This was an emergency being as though water was just gushing out. My husband contacted Peaden and Tim called my husband within 5 mins of getting the message and was here within 20 mins. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything that was done. I highly recommended them!

Will B. They charge way to much for the amount of work completed. I would advise looking for another plumbing service. Service person gave me a poor answer when I asked if there charge for service was the same as what other companies charge. Stay clear.

I'd give them 3 stars for customer service before the technician arrived but 5 stars for the tech! I waited at home ALL day for the tech just to call to say he was coming. Granted, we had only called the day before, so I was excited to get a tech to come the next day. My excited waned as it was over 80 degrees inside and every time I called the secretary said ""He's on a call and will be over as soon as he can. You can leave your house if you need but if you don't answer when he calls, we won't come over today. I hope you have a good rest of your day"" When the tech showed up, he easily diagnosed the problem and showed my husband where it was. Quickly it was fixed and he was on his way and we had cool air again!

FERNANDO B was very pleasant and knowlegable about his trade and very helpful in solving our plumbing problem will call again if the need arises

UPDATE: Changed from 1 to 3 stars. Joe, the plumbing supervisor called and offered to refund the service fee. He was truly concerned for making me happy and provided superior customer service.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Jacob E was very professional, friendly, and explained everything well. Arrived promptly, offered to remove his shoes, and was pleasant to chat with. I felt he would perform quality work.
Initial call answered promptly and appointment scheduled. Friendly receptionist. Technician will arrive on Monday, but no timeframe. No problem, I work at home. Receptionist states they need a credit card on file. I asked why this was necessary. Received vague explanation about being a new company policy. Asked when this card would be charged, but could not offer an explanation. There was no choice in the matter, I provided my credit card (never provide a debit card).
Backstory: I have two toilets which rock back and forth. Presumably, wood shims holding them level got wet and disintegrated. I knew there would be an $89 charge to come to my door, which is applied towards the work done. I was not fishing for quotes, knew it was an easy job, expected to have the work done that day, so had no concerns.
Spent the day waiting. 3:00pm rolls around, no communication. Called to confirm appointment. Polite lady explains it was a busy plumbing day with many calls. Seemed odd to me as I had an appointment and should not be bumped. No worries, I am patient. Explains it could be as late as 9pm since they run calls until they are all complete. Ok, I am comfortable with that so long as it is completed today. I admire their commitment.
Jacob arrives. We spend ~7 minutes chatting while he looks at the toilets. He talks about the situation as he is inspecting and what he would do. I feel comfortable in his ability. He then goes outside to prepare a quote. Keep in mind, I just need 2 toilets that are rocking fixed. One may need a new flange, but I know this is always extra. A little caulk to seal the job and we can call it a day.
Quote comes back as $501.30. Now, I am not one to complain about paying someone for their time. I am unable to do plumbing work myself and will gladly pay to have it done right. I do however know what reasonable pricing is, and this is not reasonable. I can purchase 2 new toilets from Lowes and use their installation service for less than, or the same, amount of money than this ""repair"" quote ($129 toilet + $99 install + taxes).
As I review the quote, Peaden uses a ""fixed price"" for this work (by the book). This fixed price came in the form of $263.63 for the first one, $237.67 for the second, to reset a water closet. There is no wiggle room knowing that this job is much simpler. There is no hourly rate + cost of materials + surcharge. This can work in your favor if a job goes sideways and there are lots of unknown issues, but for a small job like this, it is imposing.
I declined the service. Now we get to the point where you feel robbed as they rightfully enforce their $89 ""service"" fee. At the time, I truly had felt wronged by the whole process.
My later interaction with Joe, the plumbing manager and their refund of my service fee, shows that they truly do care for customer service. Despite my previous assertion I would not call them again (always felt they would do quality work), I have changed that opinion. I will consider them in the future. In my small need situation, their pricing system just did not work. For larger jobs, this will be a godsend.
There is an invaluable lesson here. Thoroughly explain the situation to service people and ask for a non-binding estimate BEFORE a tech comes out to quote it and charge you the service fee.

In 2004, we purchased an investment duplex in Gulf Breeze, Florida. We live in CA and we had a number of plumbers at our property. Peaden was absolutely the best experience that we had in over ten years of ownership.
On December 22,2017, I was informed that a constant water leak was occurring at the valve that services the washing machine. My initial impressions were that it would be a simple fix by removing the valve and placing a new one. I made the mistake of hiring a handyman. The handyman looked at the valve and informed me that we needed a new one. Simple fix, right? About an hour and a half later, the handyman called me stating that there was a leak and it was coming from the wall.
I asked him how could that be when the leak was from the valve? He stated he didn't know and that a plumber would have to be called to correct the problem. I called Peaden. That day, Fernando from Peaden came to look at the problem. He was honest, professional, and just a real good person. He told me that the copper pipe in back was twisted which caused the leak. He also sent me a photo of the pipe. Fernando was able to fix the leaking pipe and the valve that day. He's a great guy and he really helped us in our time of need. Thank you, Fernando and thank you Peaden!

Very professional crews and workmanship. They were a little higher than some other bids but I can definitely see I am getting a lot of value for what I am paying. The ability to handle both the electrical upgrades and HVAC installation was a determining factor. Unfortunately the unit blew a circuit board right after initial firing up so we are waiting for a part to come in before we can use the new system.
