Peaden Air Conditioning, Plumbing, and Electrical was established in 1969, building a strong foundation. The company began in Panama City, Florida, and expanded over the years to serve all of Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven, Callaway, Parker, and Bay County. In 2010, Peaden broadened its service area to the west, reaching Destin, Okaloosa Island, Freeport, Defuniak Springs, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach, and Crestview. In 2012, Peaden further expanded to include Pensacola, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Gulf Breeze, Milton, Pace, Jay, Navarre, Fairhope, Daphne, Bay Minette, Robertsdale, Cantonment, and Molino. As you can see, Peaden has a comprehensive coverage of the Gulf Coast.

Having lived on the Gulf Coast for over 30 years, I take pride in calling this region home. I live and work along this coast, from Pensacola to Destin to Panama City.

These people are some of the biggest scammers in the business. Everything the tech they sent said, was a lie! I got a second opinion from Lee Heating and Cooling in Pensacola, and Chad Brown checked every repair they claimed needed to be done ASAP. Not one was true, and we are talking thousands of dollars.
This technician from Peaden was so cunning that he showed me a set of false A/C readings on his notebook computer - Chad, with Lee Heating & Cooling showed me the real readings and that the refrigerant for the A/C was full, not low as Peaden's tech alleged. I almost bought a whole new A/C from these crooks. Don't think he is the only one, check all their stories with a second opinion. Some companies will check Peaden's bogus testing and summaries for free - Lee charged me $49, but it was worth it! It's a jungle out there!

The worst. Asked for a service call bc the AC flow seemed less in back bedroom. Technician said everything was fine that the room just held heat. Suggested a splitter and set up another appointment. He then Decided to change a filter in my unit that was behind the units' drain line. 2 days later, we see the drain line is leaking on the floor. Thank god we had to open that closet to get out a broom or it may have leaked for weeks. Called Peaden who wanted to charge us a $250 weekend fee to come back. We had already paid them $90 for the first visit. Said it was just ""a coincidence"" that it started leaking after they changed the filter directly behind the pipe. Just can't believe in those coincidences. They denied they were at fault. Cancelled their splitter salesman and won't be calling them again. Everyone beware of this company.

I had a mini split installed in a mother in law suite in November 2023. It stopped working in December 2023. Called for repair. Broke again in December 2023. Called for repair and noted my parents were 86 and 78 years old. I request a call back. No call from GM or quality assurance who said they would call. Parents stopped living in the unit in January 2024 due to health. Discovered the unit wasn't working again in May 2024 when they were getting ready to move back in. Tech fixed after waiting several days. Parents ended up not moving in. Checked again in July 2024. Not working...sent out tech. Checked again today (August 2024) not working. Called for tech. Again reached out to company who said they would forward my concerns to GM and quality assurance....same story....different day! Spent $8000 on a unit that has been used three months at the most. They have not been responsive to concerns despite having a unit that clearly is defective or poor installation. I would not recommend.

I don't think this is a reputable business. I called peaden about my ac having issues. It turned out to be the drain line was clogged. The guy came in and told us that and also quoted us 8K in hospital grade UV lights and said there was mold all over my machine. (There wasn't).

I told him to take his stuff and leave and I will unclog the drain myself with a bottle of $5 bleach.

Then I left a review for them on google about my experience and they tried to make me out to be a liar about my quote. See the receipts below! Don't do business with peaden, they're trying to take advantage of you.

The worst! Don't go by the google reviews they are clearly boosted! Set an appt 30 min out at 4pm they called me and told me about all the extra fees. I asked why I was not told this at the time of setting appt all got well sorry

My review would be 0 stars for that is what I received. I was rescheduled twice for a serious issue with an outdoor box over a period of a month. I gave up. I asked the service person how many times she experienced potential customers experiencing months long delays in service and she evaded the question. Unacceptable.

So here is the reply by Peaden as to my dispute with them. That they will only due repair work while they have not been paid in full. After that you will have to involve the BBB and get a lawyer. During the course of the project up until they receive full payment. They cause damage and will try to haggle with you and deprive you of your first amendment rights by stating we will do the repair work after you remove the one star rating. Direct violation of your freedom of speech.

Beware of this company, they are crooks. Call them out on an air conditioning repair and they gave me two options. One was to put in a new air conditioner and the second one was to do a repair they said they would guarantee for a year. Of course I took the repair and it didn't even last 24 hours. When I called to report it they refused to come back and make it right. Before they did the repair the technician told me that if the repair did not hold they would put that amount that I paid towards a new unit which they also refuse to do and even bumped up the price on their air conditioner $3,000 more than anybody else in town. I spent 6 weeks going back and forth with them on the phone and speaking to supervisors to know avail. I called my credit card company and filed a dispute and they found that they were wrong and reversed the payment. They have since put me in collections and put a lien on my house. This is a horrible company doing horrible work do not trust them there are plenty of other companies to choose from that are Honorable in Pensacola. Don't walk away, RUN!

We've been an elite member with Peaden for over 2 years now. What drew us to becoming a member was their punctual notifications during the day to let us know when someone would arrive. This past time (HVAC inspection), 3/21/24 we were told unknown as to when someone would arrive, that I would get a call from technician 30-40 minutes out. I called at 4:30 p.m., that day to find out the technician wasn't coming. It was rescheduled to 3/27/24 and I was informed I would be the first call that day. Well, we waited all day. The technician finally arrived around 4:00. I will give the technician credit, he knew what he was doing and finished promptly. I expressed my dissatisfaction and he said he would notify his supervisor. Normally, I would've received a request to complete a survey, but I guess they know what my response would be. Is it really worth being an elite member? We'll see if this type of service continues.
