Exceptionally professional team! They have done work at my previous home and at my current home for years - everything from running new wiring for new outlets or cable drops, replacing my pool pumps, wiring my out building, and servicing my A/C unit and air handler. Their work is top notch and they have the best prices in town. At our prior home when our A/C unit went out their quote to replace it was 1/4 that of other companies. Payne charges 30 minutes to and 30 minutes back travel time to allow them to work in Ashburn. And, of course, a service fee charge. So if you a faulty a/c problem, starting charges are approximately $130. plus hourly rates. If you needed electrical service also, the ""service"" fees jumps to approximately $260. Now you can get an estimate.

Also, make sure you do not tell Payne that you have had any electrical work done to your house unless by certified personnel or Payne will not work at your house. How many older homes have had ""UNcertified electrical"" work?

You may also have little communication as some times they get ""too busy"" to let you know they have decided not to show per your agreement.

We were charged for what was supposed to be warranty work. The fan bolts were left loose by the repairman causing the fan to break and now they refuse to do anything because of the balance we owe for WARRANTY work. Will not use again.

These people showed up HOURS late (and only then because I called and they said they weren't going to make it at all that day to which I said that was unacceptable) and then after having had to leave for a moment in the room they were working in I noticed after their departure that things had been moved around in the room and a drawer that was closed was now open. I haven't been able to find anything missing yet but that could just as easily be a result of them not opening a drawer containing valuables.
