Blake and Abraham just installed my 240v EV charger in my garage yesterday. Stellar experience from start to finish and here's why:
- Blake picked up the phone and we spoke in person on my first call - novel!
- He was able to come and look at my electrical set-up and garage layout either that afternoon or the very next day. He said that if we went forward, he could schedule me about 1week out - nice to know up front.
- He arrived on time for our apt and suggested that he rework a bit of my existing 2 boxes (main and sub) which would allow him to add a dedicated 50amp circuit versus upgrading to a larger sub panel or add a third box ( this latter approach was bid by another electrician for thousands more)
- Bid arrived either that evening or the next morning by email. In fact, all my communications with Blake were super fast - either answering the phone when I called or responding to email within 6-12 hours.
- He requested I send him the specs on the charger I had ordered so he would come prepared with the correct parts - efficient!
- I decided to change where I placed my charger which reduced the conduit run - no problem, Blake sent out a revised lower bid.
- Installation was quick and easy - Blake and Abraham were punctual, finished the job within 2 hours, let the job site spotless and even patched my sheettock!

Icing on the cake, Blake is very personable - nice, funny, trustworthy and down-to-earth. In fact, after he was done with the install, we chatted about dogs, living in the City for 15 minutes. I feel like I've made a new friend. Needless to say, I will use Pauric Electric in future and handing out Blake's cards to family and friends.

Problem at Mom's house = 1/2 house no power and electric burn smell in one room. Called all the neighbors and area friends ... no one has a good electrician to recommend! Went on-line. Pauric has multiple reviews and 5 star ratings on more than one review site! Called and reached Blake O'F = will be to house in 90 minutes. Arrived in 60 minutes :o) Checked panel, and all fixtures, outlets and fixtures. Found a problem with one outlet. Removed it and showed me how it has burned on the inside! Replaced outlet. Turned everything on and checked panel, fixtures, switches, outlets again and made sure all good. Blake was fast, friendly, professional, reasonably priced, and honest about other work that might need to be done vs doing more work now. PLUS he did a super job cleaning up :o) Wish we could give him/Pauric 10 gold stars! Meanwhile, we have given his card to each person we had called in our search for an electrician.

Currently my keys are down the elevator shaft. How do I know this? I called and spoke to Blake he told me how to shine the light & I spotted them. Now I have to get someone to fish them out.

Blake was recommended by two or three people on Nextdoor.com so I sent him an email on Friday night. Blake responded over the weekend and already stopped by today, Monday. It took him all of about 2 minutes to diagnose and fix what was wrong with my thermostat. Then I asked for his help in replacing my smoke detector batteries which he was happy to do. Then I asked him how much I owe him and he said ""nothing"". I am so grateful for how quickly he responded and for his kindness and help.

I need 6 stars for this review. Blake was responsive via phone and text and perfectly punctual. He fixed my problem and gave me a very helpful (and friendly!) explanation. Great guy, great work.

Blake and his crew worked a miracle on the entry of my quirky old Victorian. The ceiling has an original, 116-year-old plaster molding that was installed when the house still had gas lights. The defunct gas pipe was still in the ceiling and sticking out of the molding; a previous owner took the easy way out and installed a lighting can off to the side, which meant any light had to be pulled over by the cord and attached to the old gas pipe. Pauric Electric managed to re-route the wiring from the can to the inside of the molding, shorten the existing pipe, install a bracket, and hang my new pendant light--all within an hour and through a 1.5-inch opening in the molding. In addition, Blake is quick to respond to emails and can schedule appointments within a few days, which is not always the case with his colleagues. I could not be happier with the experience and the work. I will be calling Pauric Electric whenever I need electrical work done.

Blake dropped by on short notice during his lunch hour to solve a mystery with a dead outlet in our garage. Within minutes he figured it out and we were all set. He even took the time to fix the door to the cabinet containing our circuit breaker! Whenever I need electrical work, I'm calling Pauric Electric!

A contractor friend gave me Blake's contact for a small electrical project we had. I called him - and he answered. Then he told me he was away getting married the next day (Why DID he answer the phone!?) but if I emailed him he could come by when he was back in town.

Good to his word - he came by the next week and gave me an estimate - and the guys quickly did the work the following week! And the pricing was very reasonable. What a pleasure to work with these guys! I recommend them highly!
