I spoke too soon with my review. I had Parker Electric install an EV charger in December of 2023, and our contract called for a permitted install. Apparently the company's license was suspended at that time, or shortly thereafter, so they were never able to pull a permit for the install and have SMUD approve it. I've been following up with the company constantly since (apparently they are now out of business), and they haven't remedied the situation. So, now I'm stuck with an unpermitted EV charger, and am having difficulties getting another contractor to pull a permit because they can't stand by some other company's work. I'm beyond disappointed with the dishonest and frankly, fraudulent, business practices of this company.

Doug was very reliable and efficient. We needed to add a new dedicated circuit in our garage as well as new outdoor duplexes. Doug and his team worked very quickly and is reasonably priced. Highly recommend them for any electrical needs!

We have used Doug at least twice now and highly recommend him! Professional, courteous, and clearly knows what he his doing. The first time we had an issue with a breaker tripping and he quickly diagnosed and replaced the defective GFCI outlet. The second time we replaced 4 bathroom vents with lights and one vent in the laundry room. They all work great so far and are VERY quiet.

Upon recommendation from a friend we hired Doug Parker and team to install a Quiet Cool Whole House Fan. They have integrity, were efficient, fast and reasonable in price. We have saved money on our electric bill. Doug also in short notice did an electrical outlet that needed to be done right away during a kitchen remodel and he came out same day so that we could get it done and not delay our backsplash installation. He works very well with our contractor Donnie Mohr at Mohr Construction and we are glad that when Doug installed the whole house fan he referred Donnie Mohr to do our remodel.

I recently reached out to Parker Electric to come to my home to install 2 side wall lights and repaired 2 outdoor outlets. Not knowing anything about this company other than reading online reviews, I have to say I was amazed at the professionalism and they way the Parker team put me first. Doug is amazing! While my job was not the most complex, Doug approached the work like he was saving a life. I was happy with the end results and happy very happy with the price. Parker Electric is great!!!

Just use these guys the next time you need work done! We just had Doug and team remove our old whole house fan and install a Quiet Cool Stealth series fan. They did great with every aspect. From job walk to install communication is outstanding. They arrived right on time. All the guys that were on site were very personable and easy going. I will use them again! We bought an older home and Doug has been to our house several times, his service has always been excellent. He did our home entertainment system which sounds incredible. He just installed a whole house fan from Quiet Air, which has saved us from using the AC. He's very friendly, great service and trustworthy.
