Our original solar installer went out of business, so we called ParagonSun. They stepped in and assisted us with an upgrade of our microinverters, which provided us with new capabilities that are very impressive and resolved an issue we were having. If you need new solar or an issue resolved with your current system do yourself a favor and call them. Cori and her team provided excellent customer service, technical knowledge/abilities, and value - I can't fully express in this review how completely happy and satisfied we were with ParagonSun from start to finish. Paragon deserves a 5 star review. I've had my solar for 5-6 years and I've been extremely happy with it. Recently my monitoring system went down and Cori from Paragon worked with me for several weeks troubleshooting the errors and trying to fix it. We were unable to fix it so she had me order a replacement system for roughly $600 from Amazon. It showed up within 5 days, I had my service call today and the professionals did a great job installing a new one, dealing with the winds, loving on my dogs and got me up and monitoring again. I would recommend Paragon every time. Feel free to reach out if you have questions, I'm happy to share my experiences. Cori has been with paragon the entire time I've had my solar and she's great communicating, troubleshooting and solving the problem.

Excellent service, communication, and experience with ParagonSun! It is a great establishment that takes time and has processes to work with the client to come to great satisfaction. It started with an offer for a phone consultation to discuss the issue, offer potential problems, suggest self-troubleshooting, and send an explicit/clear email instruction. I was so satisfied with the process that I selected this vendor, and I am glad that I made this decision. The ""personal interaction"" made me comfortable and made me feel more at ease about making a selection. The initial quote seemed higher than the others, but there were no hidden fees or additional costs, and I was confident they could fix the issue. A few other vendors jumped right to replace an expensive unit without any investigation.

The team at Paragon sun has been phenomenal - especially my account executive, Cori!!! She had impeccable service, attention to detail and consistent follow-through day and night. The permitting process went smoothly, their install team was great (Victor & Josh) and they made sure everything was just right both for the solar and battery install on two new construction buildings. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

All I can say about Paragon Sun is I'm SO happy to have chosen them for my solar system. Cori has gone above and beyond the two instances I've needed a service call without hesitation. She has actually walked me through various protocols to possibly fix the problem without having someone come out, and when they failed she sent me the information immediately in how to request a service call. She was with me from beginning to end and I am SO satisfied with the services I received. Cori is DEFINITELY God sent and I'd recommend Paragon Sun to anyone.

System 1 and additional battery are under NEM 2.0 [roughly exported kWh offsets imported kWh over a yearly period]
System 2 was not installed until SCE provided guidance that would permit additional panels with batteries without having both System 1 and 2 under NEM 3.0 [exported = 0.25 x imported] as long as the system was set to NOT export. We are hopeful that the guidance will be honored but this is still pending approval by SCE.

Cori is very knowledgeable about all products and the industry as a whole. Communication is very prompt and informative. System builds are tailored to homeowner goals, including communication with Generac Generator, and budget.

All aspects of the installation are handled by ParagonSun, including engineering plans for the system, communication with the city for permits and onsite meeting with city inspector. All paperwork is filled out and submitted to the electric company for approvals, and, when necessary, communication and scheduling of roofers like we needed for system 2 (see positive review for King Roofing)
Initial estimates are final costs; we never experienced any additional charges.
Electricians are experienced and efficient, and cannot say enough kind words about her colleague, Josh. Work is thorough, and all aspects of the installation are considered, including cosmetic touch-up.

Enphase products are high end, operating consistently with minimal issues, and tech support is very accessible at almost all hours of the day.

Do not consider anywhere else! This is the best of the best.

I decided to add monitoring capability to our residential solar system, a feature that was not offered to us originally several years ago. After some research into local Orange County Enphase installers, I contacted ParagonSun in Irvine. They are rated a ""Gold Level"" installer by Enphase, the equipment manufacturer. The rating is well-deserved! Cori, ParagonSun owner, responded personally in a very timely manner and got us on their schedule right away. Josh, the technician who completed the upgrade installation, was very knowledgeable and professional. Cori handled the final details remotely to make our system fully functional. The overall experience with ParagonSun was excellent. I highly recommend them for any solar needs!

do not let them get you one of their tricks with Hero program, this program that they offer is from the government and they will put a lien on your property taxes and make you pay it thru your mortgage payment
you will not be able to get reed of it so you are stuck until you sell your home or refinance
for us our taxes went from about $2,400 a year to more the $10,000 and we still have to pay our electric Co about $$2,500 a year so we ended with an electric bill of about $600 a month now
we used to pay around $150 a month for our normal electric bill before SOLAR PANELS
I think this is a big Scam please don't go for their tactics
we also had a fire on our home main electric box and because we had problems with the wiring since their installation, lights flickering , I called them and they want you to call your own home insurance or pay for someone to come and check it and won't take responsibility for the problem, they said they were gonna get in touch with the Company that sell them their products and check their warranty and to call our insurance,
mean while we spent about 3 weeks in almost 105' weather without energy until our home insurance help us

Cori and her team provided stellar service, as well as by far the best price for an additional battery for our system. By far! As in thousands of dollars less than our original provider. In addition, the team that came out to do the installation were professional, fun to work with, and very time efficient as well. Should we decide to add to our system, I know where we will look first!

We had them install panels right before the California deadline for NEM. They got all the paperwork done and submitted. No hassles. Install went perfectly. No issues
