Paradise AC came out right in the time slot they promised and got my AC back up and running quickly. Ray was a very professional and informative technician and he replaced the capacitor and then scheduled me for a coil cleaning. A few days later Cole came out and cleaned my system thoroughly. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and was super friendly. It makes me happy to have my system running better than ever, and have people working on my home that are happy to educate me and are super polite. I will definitely call Paradise again, but I shouldn't need to for a while now that everything has been maintained! And the price was much better than what I'd been previously quoted too!

When I was showering this morning, the handle to turn it on and off came off when I turned it off. We called Paradise Plumbing & Air Conditioning and they said they would be over between 12-4. Kevin came over at 5 to 12. He spent over 2 hours as it wasn't a simple handle replacement. He showed us that the thing that the handle was broken as well and would need to be replaced. 2 1/2 hours later, it was fixed and the shower is back in use. He mentioned that if the valve needed to be replaced it would be double the $730 that it would cost us. Fortunately the valve didn't need to be replaced.

We found Kevin to be personable and competent. Also glad that he was here about 2 1/2 hours after we called.

This morning the handle broke off our shower. We tried snapping it back on, and it did not stay. A friend, a neighbor recommended Paradise and I called in the morning. Kevin came before noon and assessed the damage. He told us that the job will cost $700, if he hast to replace the valve it will be $1500. I should've been a plumber! Kevin said that these things go and that it's normal home maintenance, most people have leaks first.

Kevin was personable and competent. He gave us his card and asked for a review. I'm impressed that he came the same day that he was called and did the repair. It was really nice taking a shower this evening.

Had an appointment in Parkland at 9am. I made it very clear that they needed to be here at 9am since I have work. They said no problem as it's the first appointment. No call, no text.......pathetic. UPDATE - gave them another chance. Appointment Saturday AM but they called and texted the wrong number even though they called me at my correct number to make the appointment? Of course, no show once again today! I told them they could come at 5pm and they called back a couple hours later but didn't leave a message. This company simply can't communicate........or show up!

For the second time, a poly pipe in my bathroom burst. The first time it happened I got a different company to patch it. This time Paradise came out. Dude named Jeremy actually EDUCATED me on why it happens and gave me all my options on how to reduce thecchance it happens again.

I had Paradise Plumbing give me a quote to replace my shower unit components: shower head nozzle, controller, etc.

They quoted me $319 per hour per person! Just for Labor !!

I bought all the components myself. I obviously didn't hire them.

So, after I posted the above on 5/31/23

I have had two calls from Matthew Rich the owner.

I'm at a Doctors office and I'm not taking calls as I find it rude to the other patients. So I emailed Mr. Rich my response to his first voice mail.

To which he calls me again from another number: his VM which I have saved says:

We need to speak to me man to man, etc. (Nice innuendo, stating I'm not a man because I can't take his call immediately)

Then he denies his labor rate is $319 per hour. Sorry, I have his estimator in my house telling me the job would be at least $1500+ and when I pushed back with- Why? His estimator stated: we bill $319 per hour for repair jobs per person. Less than that for new construction.

Companies like this tell you even for a basic job, a flat rate is safest for you the customer! That is nonsense !
$1600 for a 3 hour job? If they took more than 3 hours they should fire their plumber.

Now this is recorded on my ring camera system.

I have been in the trades since 1978, I own a development company, rehabbed hundreds of units, built hundreds of new units - houses & apartments. Currently I have close to 100 units in production or approved to be built in New England.

My wife has a lawyer on staff at $200 an hour. $319 for a plumber ? On what planet ?

In my opinion, I would look elsewhere.

End of the Story: I got 2 licensed plumbers to come do the work for $950 - they cleaned up, they did an excellent job. $650 less than Paradise's price.

AC tech said there was a leak, noticed some oil around the coils outside, but wanted 1K to detect the leak! My regular AC tech was able to come out and diagnosed the leak in less than 5 minutes (the coils), & he laughed real hard when I told him that leak quote.

Stay away from these classic rip-off style Florida AC thieves.

I trust Paradise plumbing to fix my plumbing issues. They are always knowledgeable, on-time, polite and very patient. Paul was great today. I have worked with several other employees and would rate them all 5 star too.

When I call, I always get same day service. This is wonderful.

It reminds me of an old time Florida company who puts customer first.

The plumber who came to work on my shower was great. He was knowledgeable, skillful, polite and respectful. It's too bad he works for this company.

I can't speak well for the company who would not give me a breakdown of costs. They claimed ""it was standard procedure"", but I find that to be bull. When I inquired about the cost of the replacement part, somebody on the receiving end let it slip that the cost was $100--I don't think he was supposed to say that...uh-oh! But still, they would not issue a breakdown.

The cost for the replacement repair was $675.00; so, doing the math, the company makes $575.00, right?...and what does the plumber make from that is a mystery. I call this a ripoff. And, of course, I had already spent $275 for an analysis of the repair which took minutes to evaluate. Total cost: $950 for a shower diverter.

Of course, when you need a plumber fast, it's all about who can be there first.
