It's taken me a while to write this review as the work was done in October 2014 but I wanted to just say how helpful Dean and his staff were when my whole electrical panel went out and needed to be replaced. I had recently bought an older home in Los Banos, CA, that had turned out to be a nightmare and because of the heat, we had to stay in a hotel until the panel was fixed. Unfortunately, I can't remember the Electrician's name, who completed the work, but he too was very nice and most importantly they did an excellent job getting me back into my home. I certainly would call upon them again if I ever needed electrical work!

This is my first non-restaurant review that has nothing to do with food and everything to do with excellent service!

For the past three months the power has been out in one section of our tiny condo in San Jose. We had another electrician come out to view our problem, but they could not find it and said they would recommend removing a portion of our wall and ceiling to check the wiring which may have shorted somewhere in between. Also, it would be $85 an hour, not including parts to do the job. Since neither of us had time to deal with the issue due to work schedules, we put it off.

Now that we're in contract to purchase another property and plan to rent this unit, we needed to repair the electrical. I contacted a recommended electrician from a list composed by a Realtor who created ""The Northside Yellow Pages"" (which is where we plan on moving).

Dean Pappas of Pappas Electrical showed up at the agreed upon time, was friendly and courteous, and carefully, but quickly, checked all of our outlets and switches. He was thorough and found an outlet that I didn't even know existed by moving our heavy dresser. That was the culprit which he managed to fix in no time at all! Simply amazing. It took a good two hours or so to go through our cluttered place (remember we're still packing for our move) and make the repair. No walls or ceilings were torn out thankfully and he charged a small flat fee for the service call.

If I could select more than 5 stars, I would. People like Dean Pappas are worth more than their weight in gold for the excellent and reliable services they provide.
