A few weeks ago on a Friday afternoon we had a chill water pump motor that the bearings had failed on. It was an old motor and could not be replaced in the same week with a new motor. This meant no cooling to the whole building. Because of past great service from Palo Alto Electric I told my maintenance staff to go to Palo Alto Electric and see what Doug and Patti at Palo Alto Electric could do for us to replace the bearings and if necessary rewind our old motor. My staff came back Friday afternoon and told me that Palo alto Electric would try their best to put a rush on the job but that it would probably be late Tuesday of the next week. However on Monday morning shortly before 10:00AM we got a call that the motor had been rewound and the bearings replaced and was ready to be picked up by my staff. Wow what service! I had a whole building of occupants who were upset that they had no cooling with a heat wave extending into Monday from the weekend. Because Palo Alto Electric was able to service and get the motor back to us quickly I was able to avoid the building occupants from going home.
I have done business with Palo Alto Electric for over 30 years and they have always been helpful and able to deliver on their services on time as promised or earlier. The bay area is lucky to have a reputable motor rewind shop with integrity as well. Check them out!

Best place to take your motor issues We are small business needed our carpet cleaner pump motor fixed Took it someplace else and they had it 2 weeks and said it was no good and offered to sell me a new one Took it to here and even though it is a small motor and a new one cost only 600 They were able to repair for 120 .For a small business 600 is a not cheap Treated like one of their regular customers Worth the drive Will not go anywhere else motor wise

Excellent Company to work with. Meli and I both applied ourselves to researching the parts needed for a pump motor repair. Thanks to the homework by all parties, we are now with a
manual and proper identifying specs for future. PA Electric Motor Corp went the distance...
is also giving us a timeline for repair to expect, and performed as promised.
They were extremely amenable to my late running schedules, and even stayed open so I'd
be able to pick up the motor as more convenient to me. I again give them many thanks!!!!!

This shop was our savior!

The motor on our paper cutter machine started to make loud grumbling noises.
I was told by our technician that it is probably the motor going bad.

I searched around Google and found this shop and boy am I glad I did.

We use our paper cutter day in and day out and if it is down so is our whole operation.

Dallas and Doug were very accommodating to my needs and got my motor up and running with a 1 day turnaround!

Communication was great and kept me updated throughout the day as to when I could expect my motor back.

Highly recommended shop and would use them again if needed in the future!

I have used this shop 4 times. Never again.
Motor 1 - They did a great job

Motor 2 - They did OK but didn't bother to tell me the rotor was bent somehow - Strike 1

Motor 3 - They put the motor back together *backwards*. After arguing with me and then *me* showing them the marks they had stamped on the motor and then ignored while reassembling, it they fixed it. - Strike 2

Motor 4 - It was working fine and just needed work on the relay. They half disassembled it and then accidentally fired it up, apparently. The inside bearing retainer severed the run windings. They called me to tell me that *I* had broken my motor... I was basically in shock that they could be so incompetent and then not take responsibility. - Strike 3

Avoid this shop unless you personally know the person working on the motor. Only 25% of their employees are competent.
