If I could give Palmer Electric more than 5 stars, I would! Larry and his team are amazing and I am so happy with the work they did at our house. We had a rather unique electrical project, and Larry worked with us to come up with the right solution that would work well for the property. Larry and his team really cared that we were happy with the work being done and throughout the process asked what we thought, if everything was how we wanted it, etc. I also think their pricing was very fair and transparent, which I appreciated greatly. I can't say enough good things about Palmer Electric and highly recommend them!

I found Palmer Electric on Yelp and requested a quote on some old outdoor lighting that did not work. The house is new to us, but the lighting has been here for sometime and has not worked since we moved in. We spent the entire winter in the dark when we went outside! LOL! Well, the electricians (2) came out and wa-la, within 30 minutes had it working. Now, they could have told us it was old and needed to be replaced, but you know - they did not do that! I really appreciate that. They fixed the transformer and explained what was going on.
We'll have them come back and update some of the fixtures to join the 21st century! They were great to work with - friendly and professional and took the time to explain things to us - since obviously we had no idea what was happening! Highly recommend!!!!

Truly professional. They show up on time and do the work as promised.
I put in new yard lights. They recommend placement but didn't push.
I used them again twice already.

Our experience is how every trade service project should go. I found Palmer Electric on Yelp and requested a quote for multiple projects for our home. Larry (the actual owner) replied to me within 10 minutes to set up an appointment. For the initial appointment, he showed up on time (when he said he was going to), used an iPad (shows technological saavy) to take notes, I told him our goals for each project, he made suggestions (not pushy, but giving his expert opinion) and said he would get back to me either that day or the next with a quote. I asked if he could break down the quote by project and he said no problem. And guess what?, that evening he sent over an itemized quote! I told Larry that I was getting other quotes and would get back to him. He checked back in two days (which I would expect to show that he was still interested in the project). After that, he didn't push and just waited. I finally contacted him 3 weeks later (that's how long it took me to get the other quotes!) and hired him for the job. Again, Larry gave me some available dates, we reviewed what he was going to do, and guess what? He showed up when he said he was going to (with Vlad). They knocked out the project in a day, which was replacing our high voltage yard lighting with 12V LED lighting. Larry gave suggestions on additional lighting for trees and it was right on! They look great, please see the pictures. He also uncovered some problems with the electrical for such an old house and he came back to troubleshoot and after a certain period of time, he told me that it was in operable condition but would need more work and the decision was mine to continue. I appreciate the thoughtfulness to keep me aware instead of just burning through more hours. And I know this wasn't a made-up issue because he and Vlad were working their butts off to get to the bottom of an over-voltage issue. At the end of the day, Palmer Electric replaced our outdoor yard lighting, installed additional lighting, and installed 2-wired ring cameras. Palmer Electric is now our goto electrician. While they weren't the cheapest, they weren't the most expensive, exactly where you want to be! Next up for us will be an electrical panel upgrade once we save up more money. And BTW he was right in the middle on that pricing as well! Larry and Vlad's professionalism, respect, and integrity are a welcome experience in an industry that can be as painful an experience as buying a car! What I also liked was Larry grew up in the area, went to college, fell in love with a profession that he did over the summer to make money, spent the time with a bigger outfit to gain experience and then went out on his own (you should read his bio). Again, can't recommend them enough and hope people find this useful.

I can not recommend Palmer Electric Enough. Larry and his staff are friendly , helpful and professional.
They are quick to respond, the cost has always been reasonable and the work is all ways completed on time if not early .

Thanks to Palmer Electric we have air in this summer heat! The guys came in the morning before it got too hot. They were prompt, detected the problem, fixed our wiring, and replaced a deteriorating breaker. Very patient at explaining everything to my elderly mother in law. We will be keeping them for any future jobs. Excellent.

I couldn't resist. Honestly. There in the aisles of Costco was a very nice and powerful, emergency (dual fuel!) generator. VERY reasonably priced and with the dire darkness all around us, I decided, it was a reasonable and practical expenditure.
My experience in the high Sierra mountains showed me that when the power went out, he with the generator was always smiling.
You may have a different reason, but you're looking for a Electrical Contractor, just like I was. Price, availability, reliability, expertise, and credibility.
This is your hero. He's already mine
Larry Palmer has installed a supplemental power box below my home's external circuit panel. If the power goes out, i'll cut the primary power switch, slip a slide plate up to insure only one direct power source to the home, pull the crank, or push the electric start, and i got air conditioning, freezer, refrigerator, computer, etc etc etc. Almost like magic.
He came over and evaluated the project, put together a cost estimate with parts and service identified. He researched the product (generator) and gained a working knowledge of this system, make, and model. After we agreed on the price, he got right back over and did the install. This entire process was started, and complete within a 3 week window from first call to final handshake. The price was so damn reasonable. My friend from Illinois would have quoted this job at somewhere north of $2K. Our cost was closer to half that amount.
Good luck with your project however, if you call Larry Palmer, ""luck"" will have no bearing on the outcome at all. You picked the winner.

Larry and his team gave me the best experience I have had ever with an electrician. We had can lights installed on a 13 foot ceiling and add some power outlets outside and in garage. He showed up on time for our quoting appointment. Gave me options and pricing via email within 24 hours. He arrived to do the work on time and was extremely clean and efficient. Thank you for your work. I would recommend Palmer Electric.

Fantastic outfit. Other electricians said our ceiling fans were not possible. They wired for them in just a few hours. Had them out for another service and it was speedy and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Recently we noticed that our exterior landscape lighting was out. We called Palmer Electric who immediately responded. Diligently and neatly Larry and Vladen examined 50 fixtures until they discovered the defective underground cable. They were polite, patient, professional and tenacious in their effort to correct our problem. They are most deserving of the kudos and appreciation that we have for the quality of their work. We highly recommend utilizing their services. Thank you Larry and Vladen. Anything electrical we won't hesitate to call you . We give you 5+ stars!!!!!!
