This is superior company. They do it right, beginning with a staff member manning the phone. No "" leave a message"" nonsense. Service businesses should be good at service and you should not have to play telephone tag when calling. After all, you are calling for their services, to give them business.
Steve, the journeyman electrician is superb. Angel who works with him, likewise. They get the job done efficiently because they know what they are doing. These men are not amateurs. Not part-timers. No dabblers. Qualified, experienced tradesmen are now in short supply so it is very refreshing to know of t ""old school"" pros.
Quick story which is emblematic of the quality of the company and Steve. He installed a lighting/security system component but needed to check it out after sunset. On his birthday, on the way to celebrate with friends, he came to the house to check out the performance of the new system. How is that for dedication. Anything else you need to know?

This is an excellent electrician. They are down to earth, extremely knowledgeable and honest. I have worked with Steve and Angel about 5 times now on various projects on my house. I consistently received excellent service. They always try to solve the problem as best as they can, without wasting any time, and are always highly professional.

Their prices are very reasonable. They are not greedy and will give you an honest price for the job. It will be difficult to beat their prices.

They don't shy away from difficult jobs. Numerous times, they crawled in tiny places, crawlspaces, my attic, without any complaints. It was not easy.

One highlight is that I had an old radio from the 70s in my dining room left behind by the previous owners. The radio was broken, but looks like a great antique item. Guess what -- Steve of Palisades Electric fixed it!! So now, I have this great working piece of memorabilia from the 70s in my home. It continues to impress my guests. :-)

Palisades Electric pays great attention to detail. In one instance, I asked them to remove an old exterior floor light. After doing so, there was a small crevice left behind. I think an ""average"" contractor would just leave it as is, but Steve fixed it. I did not ask for it, he just proactively said that he can make it better and fixed it in 5-10 minutes. Made it MUCH better in a short amount of time. I really appreciated that.

Owner Jamie is always generous with his free phone consultations on what you need. My new 13,000 BTU room air conditioner required a dedicated breaker. Jamie sent Steve and Angel , a truly dynamic duo, who worked so smart and efficiently that the bill was significantly less than my other bids for the tricky job. They listened to my concerns and quickly figured the best path, leaving my house spotless. Now the unit works perfectly and safely. This honest family-run business is a great Pacific Palisades asset. This company showed up in my Nextdoor's recs, so I was disappointed to find out that they don't service my area. They service the Palisades and immediate surrounding areas - I'm 8 miles from their office and outside of their service area. Save yourself some time if you're south of Westwood, and call elsewhere.

Chris, the owner's son, came out and quickly and efficiently got to work solving our circuit breaker issue and then installed a new security light and GFC outlet. Within a few minutes it was all done and he cleaned up leaving no trace. What more can you say, but they are the best!

We recently moved into a townhouse and have had Palisades Electric do work for us twice.

The last job was a big one. We had the team install recessed lighting in our bedrooms and living room and 3 chandeliers in other rooms.

The service they provided was outstanding. They listened to all of our requests and provided their expertise to make it even better than we imagined.

We will definitely use them for all electrical needs in the future.

We had an excellent experience with Palisades Electric today, hence this review. We had four individual electrical issues which were all addressed in less than an hour: outdoor heaters, a motion switch, a lighting system repair and a front gate electronic switch. Scheduling was fast and the team was prompt, efficient and courteous. Well done Palisades Electric!

They did a great job in my front yard. Jamie and his crew are friendly, nice and helpful. My garden and trees are lit perfectly and I'd recommend them easily to anyone looking for good, solid work at a fair price. Definitely look forward to using them again!

These guys are awesome--wish I'd called them sooner! I've battled constant mildew build-up in a small interior bathroom for several years now due to the space having an inadequate exhaust fan and no source of ventilation. The walls and ceiling in the bathroom would often remain wet for many hours after showering. (Honestly, it seemed as if the walls never dried in that bathroom.) Jamie came out to assess the situation and helped me to come up with a solution for the bathroom, which included installing a new exhaust fan as well as a small oscillating ceiling fan. Jamie was very professional and easy to work with and he followed up his visit with a detailed quote the same day. A team of two electricians came out to perform the work. They were professional and courteous, got the two fans installed in the one bathroom, and installed recessed lighting in both of my bathrooms within about 3 hours.

It's been a week since they installed the new exhaust fan and oscillating ceiling fan in the problem bathroom, and the difference is AMAZING!! With the new fans, the entire bathroom is bone dry within 25 minutes after showering. Wish I'd thought to call them and have this work done years ago. Such a difference! I will definitely call Palisades Electric for future jobs.
