This is worse company I have ever deal with I just stared living here in Sacramento in September I have a bill over $451.57 I was never late on my payments or anything. I ask them for help what is going on with my bill. They don't know I guess I use all that gas. And the only opción is pay. Maybe I have to pay all the fire on the Forest it haven't stared yet. and they are mean and rude at office by florin bad service with those old ladies they won't let you speak. Someone doing the management there don't you how to solve problems with clients. I wish can give a 0.00000001 of quality or less.

Why does PG&E feel the need to advertise so heavily? It's not like we have a choice. They are essentially a monopoly and then they spend exorbitant amounts of money on advertising in an effort to make us feel better about them after their screw ups (San Bruno explosion, Lake County fire, etc.). And we are supposed to feel good about them after they pass the advertising costs on to us? I think not.

This is actually my first 1 star review. It's not about PG&E in general, but about a customer service representative (JENNIFER, SACRAMENTO),. We lost power in our area where I live. It was reported that it would be off for a few hours and I listened to the updates regularly. My BF and I drove around town and noticed that our area (a very small one) was the only one that was out. I called just to ask PG&E if they knew why our area was down, and I was, as I always am, very polite and cordial, just wanted to know if there was further information not on the taped announcement. I no sooner got the question out of my mouth when beep, she hung up on me. She could have just answered and said she didn't know, wasn't her department or something! It's people like this that leave a sour taste in the customer's mouth when it comes to dealing with huge utility companies!

This company is requiring a 305.00 deposit to switch power to my name. I have had an account with them for 35-40 years and never been late or missed a payment. No account in the last 12 months which is why they want a deposit. I told them no and guess what? I got a bill in the mail today for 305.00! Seems like I have no choice!

Another account was added to my bill in error- the rep I spoke to Mindy was very rude- and after holding for 70 minutes my issue is not resolved and mindy kept putting the blame on me even though I explained the situation.
