I called Doug (the owner of Pacific Energy Electric) because I had a ceiling light that kept going out. He said that he might be able to find a replacement fixture, but suggested that I switch the lights to LED fixtures as the old lights were being replaced by LED anyway. But they were quite a bit more expensive. And because there were a total of 9 lights, I was hesitant because of the cost. Doug explained the advantages , but didn't try to give me the hard sell. I had Doug do work on my circuit breaker a while back, and he was conscientious enough to finish the job even though it had started to drizzle, I went with his suggestion to replace all 9 lights. He and his crew were very professional, came to work on time and thoroughly cleaned up after the job was done. I would definitely recommend him to any one that needs electrical work done, and in fact i have already recommended him to a couple of my friends. In addition, the lights enhanced my kitchen, were much brighter. A definite improvement.

First-rate, professional service! Since moving to Leisure Village, Camarillo, Pacific Energy Electric has been our go-to company for electrical work. Two years ago, Doug installed a 240 Volt line and receptacle for our electric vehicle charging device. The device has worked flawlessly ever since. Same with the installation of new attic and kitchen fans, and a receptacle for a water heater recirculating pump. Last Friday evening I sent Doug a message that the circuit controlling our refrigerator and microwave wasn't working. Doug interrupted his dinner to reply. The next day, Michael arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem - a worn-out circuit breaker that could not be reset. Michael replaced the breaker in short order and everything is up and running!

I was extremely happy with the work that Doug and Luke did at my house today. They replaced my ancient fluorescent kitchen fixture with LED can lights, replaced outdated square recessed lights with large circular LED ones, and added additional LED lighting in my kitchen so I can actually see what I'm doing at the sink, stove and countertops. Doug noticed one of my light switches was beginning to fail and replaced it at no extra charge. When they were finished with the electrical work, they made sure everything was spotless. They were both professional and a joy to have in my home. When I told Doug I'd probably need to call him back to replace my breaker panel, he told me if anything, perhaps only some breakers might need replacing, not the panel, which is a lot more economical. I appreciate his honesty. I've dealt with other electricians who were not so forthcoming. I gladly recommend Pacific Energy Electrical.

I can't say enough good things about the service that Doug Chiapuzio (owner) provided my business. We had some equipment and outlets that were not working so I assumed that a breaker that was not functioning properly. After spending too long looking for it, I called Doug to take a look. He responded quickly and agreed to swing by my business the same day. He arrived on time and started looking at what was not working then tracking down the rouge breaker. He found the culprit (which had inadvertently been turned off), turned it back on and provided me with an extremely fair price for the work. Doug is honest, gets the job done, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs residential or business electrical work. Thanks Doug!!!!

I had no electricity in one room of the house for 12 hours. Naturally this occurred just before dusk. I called Pacific Energy & Electric the following morning. Per the voice message I sent a text message explaining the issue. I had a reply within minutes as well as a scheduled service call for the next day. Several hours later the electricity came back on. I decided to keep the scheduled service because I figured the issue would very likely occur again & wanted it resolved.
Two electricians arrived. They were very courteous & efficient; diagnosed the loose wiring on an outlet in the adjacent room; fixed it and then another issue as well. One shared electrical knowledge for the average homeowner which I value. They moved furniture back into place and cleaned up. Doug, the owner, arrived later to check on work completed and my satisfaction.
I will call Pacific Energy & Electric when the need arises in the future.

On July 18th, 2022 Doug & Mike with Pacific Energy did some electrical work for me at my home. Doug was very kind up until they had to leave. I asked Doug if he was going to finish putting my home back together and clean up his mess because he and Mike were putting their tools back in their truck. Mike simply whispered yes; I'll do it. But never did. Doug left my home a complete mess and unfinished. I asked Mike what the heck happened to Doug? Why did he leave such a mess; and why didn't Doug finish the job. Mike said Doug will come back and finish the job tomorrow, but here we are a few months later and my home is still a mess and unfinished. I am 78 years old, and I do not have the time to chase this guy! Very dissatisfied. Very unhappy!

We have used Doug several times at our home and he is great. We live in an over 55 community and the housing is almost over 55 with its own electrical aches and pains. We have had our breaker box rebuilt and brought up to standards, installed wall sconces and added outlets in our bedrooms. He's easy to work with and explains costs and different ways to approach a problem. If you buy a home or a condo in Camarillo or Ventura County have Doug evaluate your electrical system.

Today Doug & his crew from Pacific Energy came to my house and installed a new Tesla Power Wall charger AND new modern LED light strips in the garage AND repaired an old & dangerous light switch in the garage attic, all for a very reasonable price. What a difference!!
What sets Doug apart from other electricians is his attention to detail and doing all the extras to make the job perfect. For example, with the LED light strips he covered the small holes inside the strip unit so dust & small bugs wouldn't get inside and he caulked all around the light strip box to leave a professional appearance. Doug & his crew were also friendly and enjoyable to talk to.
