Knowing what I do now, I believe Doug overcharged me. $975.00, to change the fuse box. ( all the fuses). And I had to give him a check, payable to him. Not the company. He told me that his credit card machine was not working. I am a widow living on social security in Leisure Village. I would never do business with him again.

Doug and Mike are the real deal! I highly recommend these guys. Had an early morning breaker issue two rooms with no electricity and kitchen outlets that needed to be rewired. I am so impressed with both Doug and Mike. I started with a water heater that did not work. The gas company discovered that the water heater was fine, but both the plug and surge protector were dead. I came to discover that the master (directly above the garage) was also without power. After checking the circuit breaker, I believed the circuits were dead.
I spoke with Doug, of Pacific Energy, and he and Mike were able to come over following completion of their current job, within 90 minutes. Doug and Mike were both friendly and polite. I explained that I had reset the circuit breaker, but both rooms continued to be without power. Doug quickly discovered that the circuit breaker had not been properly reset (ooops!), and then proceeded to reset the breakers. Wah-lah, power! Completely easy and painless (other than some embarrassment).
I will absolutely use Pacific Energy again and highly recommend the business to anyone requiring electrical work.

I have used Doug @ Pacific Energy Electric twice in the past two years for separate home improvement projects and each time the results have been fantastic and the pricing has been more than fair. Doug is very detail oriented, makes sure he understands what you need -- very importantly his crew always cleans up and things look better than when he arrived. He always follows up the next day to check and see if you are happy with everything and offers to come back and fix anything that is not right.

Furthermore, Doug is very reliable -- always returning phone calls, text messages, or emails which is hard to find these days!

The two projects that Doug did for me that I am very happy with.
1. Art lighting for 3 Peter Lik photos in 3 different rooms of our house. Installation of 3 lights for each photo on a dimmer switch which dims as a the sun sets.
2. Wiring and installation of 2 outdoor ceiling fans and 2 43"" TVs in our outdoor patio with a complicated tongue and groove ceiling.

I own a home which I am renting to tenants. The ballast in the bathroom was not working so before I called an electrician I went to Home Depot to get some lights hoping that would be the problem. As I was deciding which length Doug came by shopping as well and we started to talk. Said he would come by and check it out and if the lights worked he would not charge. What a guy!!! Came by and it ends up both bathrooms were a problem so he gave me a great price for two instead of one. Also cleaned the fixture itself including the panels over the lights. Even showed me how to take out the middle piece to change the bulbs in the future. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the job after he finished and took extra cards to give to my friends. This happed on July 30th. Well, having the tenants from hell I get another call August 18 that the circuit breaker has some lights that aren't working in half the house. So I called Doug, comes out the next morning and fixes that as well. This job was even more impressive to me. Some of the wires were broken and the charge had to be rerouted and the box is very old but Doug found a way to do it.....He was so friendly and informative and explained everything he did. I will use him for my home as well. I am spreading the word to all my fiend's....I am not one to write comments or recommend people but he is definitely the best........If I move from California which I am thinking seriously about I would love to fly him out to Oregon or Tennessee and give him all my work there as well..... He is definitely a gem......
