Lee R.Scam artists. Pacific Coast Electric IS NOT interested in residential business--though their marketing materials says they are.
The company charges $89 for what you think is a quote but, for legal reasons, actually isn't: you call asking for a quote and when they send the electrician out to evaluate your home, what they do is have you sign a contract authorizing an ""inspection"", whereupon the electrician extensively evaluates your home, including taking pictures of everything--including entrances, alarm systems, etc. However, a contract for an evaluation does not mean they'll quote.
I called, they didn't call back. I called again, they finally called back and scheduled a ""quote"". They sent a guy who did a fine job--polite, professional, knowledgeable--and overselling every last service he could think of, whereupon he then claims he send a master electrician out to complete the quote. That quote, for me, never came.
I called, called and called again for more than a week post visit by the electrician. Nothing. No quote. Finally, I cornered their admin on the phone who promised to send someone out--yet again--to complete the quote, but never said when that would happen. It never did.
$89 for a f***** evaluation that I never wanted and--no quote.
This company is a waste of time. I wouldn't mind so much if I wasn't charged for something I didn't want or need without ever getting what I did want or need.
