Imagine calling a phone number on a sticker on your electrical panel and meeting the nicest human on earth. That's Jeff and he is super talented. Aka my guardian angel on a holiday weekend in between Christmas and NYE. A SUNDAY evening nonetheless where you have a call with London at 4am on Monday and no working WiFi. My entire power went out in my house and I have an 8 year old and a not so handy husband. Jeff not only picked up my call immediately, he then offered to FaceTime me. He walked me thru getting my power back on! Fairy godmother of my house built in 1903 in San Francisco. Plus, this was after a Costco run with my fridge and freezer being full. Jeff is a dad of two and is the best. Thank you Jeff!

Expensive, but Jeff said he could perform work quickly so we decided to pay the high quote. A week later we discovered the work was faulty and Jeff never followed up. Had to pay another electrician to correctly perform the work. Very frustrating.

I highly recommend Owen's Electric, and Jeff in particular. My landlords called Jeff on the same day I posted a concern, and Jeff was able to come out a few hours later.
He was fast, efficient, and very knowledgeable (and respectful of COVID precautions). He even offered to stay after fixing my original problem to double-check and replace a few faulty sockets, including one that had been dead since I moved in 5 years ago. I'm relieved and appreciative!

I had the lights go out in the dinning area of my home during dinner. I called Owens electric to get some emergency help as I did not know what to do. In stead of driving to my home and charging me for the service, they walked me through how to reset the breakers over the phone for free. Thank you for all the help and thank you for saving our dinner!!!

Fantastic. We have a large ancient home we are remodeling and along the way out heater started going out, then yesterday the entire house power went out - without flipping a breaker!! It even destroyed our old main breaker. Jeff Owens answered a late night call, came out the very next morning, replaced the main breaker and pinpointed the issue down to one specific junction box and identified the wiring error in the box, which had flummoxed others. He's our guy from here on out.

What can I say. 5 Stars Plus.
It is not everyday that you have an electrical emergency and are given the gloomy news that your power will be out for 24 hours. In this situatio it could have been 48 hours.
Not only did Jeff Owens call & personally walk me though the situation the day of the power loss; he also let me know that a Service Upgrade needed to be installed the following day. He single-handed did the entire job that normally takes 2 day in just 7 hours. Also, he instructed me on getting the city to see our Electric Box Install the same day as it was an ""Emergency"" situation. Best of All, he pointed out all the information to me to motivate PG & E to get out within hours of the install to hook the power back up!
Amazing stuff; Especially when your Wife & Kids are happier that Clams in the Ocean!
Thank You Jeff Owens!

Does not follow up, never wrote the quote he said he would send me, and got agitated quickly on the phone. There are too many electricians out there to put up with this. Moving on.

Yelp really needs zero or negative stars, because these people don't deserve one. Like being treated like crap? Call this company. After getting a friend of a friend union electrician to look at my problem - who was just visiting from out of town and couldn't do the work, I called Owens 24 hour ""emergency service"". Told them I needed my panel replaced, asked how much they would charge, and how long do they think it would take. Guy barks - WHAT'S THE JOBBB?"". I thought hmmm, he sounded initially like he was miserable, but I thought he could at least understand me, so I say, uh, I'm sorry, just what I told you, panel replaced, corroded with water, blah blah blah. He barks, again, ""the job??; 120 , 200, high up?"". Me - well just a regular residential panel. Silence. I say, did I not answer that correctly. Thinking but not saying, you're the expert you should know. CLICK. HE HUNG UP ON ME. HUNG UP ON ME. Okay, yes, I'm a woman, and yes, you have to work on Saturday night. Shame on you for treating people like crap. I'm hoping for karma. Emergency? Call a REAL electrical contractor - I should have known; what kind of people charge $195.00 for a bid? (see other review) Can you say price gauge?

Jeff was prompt in answering my call at 8 pm at night. We had an issue with our fuse box which kept blowing every time we put in a new one. He told us it wasn't anything to worry about and would be out the next morning to inspect it. He was prompt, professional and thorough. He did a great job replacing the socket to the fuse for what was a relatively inexpensive process. Very honest guy and did a fantastic job. I'd highly recommend him and we would call him again without hesitation.

Jeff Owens (Owens Electric) charged $195.00 for a quotation ($1500.00) to install 96 4ft.
bulbs; labor and scissor lift only. The work was completed for $750.00 by an electrician who did not charge for a quote.
