I had a complex electrical job. Joe from Osprey Electric came out to look at it. He spoke openly about the challenges we might encounter (notably with PGE) and suggested several ways to go about it.

He followed up and did everything he said he would, keeping me appraised of the progress as it slowly moved along in the permit process. When it was finally time for him to do the work, he arrived on time and was very neat. He knows what he is doing, and is very polite. I would highly recommend him!

I had Joe out today for an intermittent problem I have been having with three rooms in my house. He was able to come right away and promptly diagnose my problem. He replaced a broken circuit in my panel and even took the time to replace an electrical switch in my washroom. He explained everything along the way and was fair and reasonable. I used the bid feature on Yelp to try and determine the cost of installing LED, can lighting in the garage after we had lost some lighting in replacing a broken garage door opener. Some bids were wildly expensive or included such a large arc of possible costs that I became frustrated and considered not doing it at all. Still, other electricians didn't even respond, or they were too busy to help me for several months...

Joseph of Osprey Electric, on the other hand, made arrangements to come out to the house to give me a bid in person. It was reasonable and honest. He agreed to come early in the morning and fit me in within a week which was fantastic. Early morning was preferable since the forecast predicted 93-95 degree weather all week and he would be crawling around in the attic to put in the necessary wiring.

He lined them all up perfectly as I had asked and was immaculate and efficient in the installation. I was very happy with the work and comfortable with the price.

This review is actually overdue since I had him come out again several weeks later to hide the wiring from the new garage door opener in the attic and determine if some of the other exposed wirings had been left over from previous work that I suspected didn't go to anything. He methodically and carefully identified the legitimate wiring and rewired it through the attic and removed the obsolete wires. Again, the work was excellent and the price very reasonable. I was happy with the entire experience. He was on time and very personable.

When I need future electrical work done, Joseph is who I'll call, without hesitation or reservation.

My husband called Osprey after the other electrician he called first, charged us $309 to come out and do a diagnostic test, and did not fix the problem. He (Joe) was thorough, found and fixed the problem, and charged a very reasonable rate. We will definitely use Ospey for any future electrical needs.

I received several bids from different companies and Osprey Electric was thus far quoted the cheapest for the same job. I went ahead and hired Joe Osprey (Osprey Electric) for the job. On the day the work was to be done, Joe arrived 10 minutes early. Before begging work, he once again showed me what he was going to be doing and it was exactly what we agreed upon. Actually, he did a bit more than expected and did not charge me for it. Joe completed the work above expectation and to my satisfaction. Unlike the other bigger chains that try selling you memberships for services that you don't need; Joe does exactly what you do need! I was so happy, that I am hiring him back in a few weeks to install a ceiling fan and other work as needed! If you want superior service, excellent electrical work done; please give Joe Osprey from (Osprey Electric) a chance! From my experience, you cannot go wrong.

I have house in Rohnert Park that had intermittent electrical problems. Part of the house, upstairs, was losing power intermittently. It wouldn't do it all the time, but when it did happen it gets very annoying. I am a pretty handy guy but this one stumped me. I checked the usual places electrical junction box and electrical outlets. Checked with electrical tester but I couldn't figure out where the problem was. I was dreading calling an electrician because I was afraid he wouldn't find anything and get charged anyway for service call and my problem would continue intermittently.
When that part of the house lost power again, I knew I had to call an electrician when it was down. I checked out Yelp and after reading reviews about Osprey electric I called them. I called after 8pm that night and got a voicemail Osprey electric. I left my message and in the morning I got a call from Joe and he told me he had a job that day but he could do it the next day. I reluctantly agreed. Later that day I got a call from Joe and he said he finished his job early and could come by to troubleshoot my electrical problem. Joe thoroughly checked my electrical system. He found the problem right away. He only charged for one hours work. It's been three weeks no more intermittent power loss upstairs. Thanks Joe you have a very satisfied customer.
