Company Overview

Our company is a family-owned Christian enterprise. Our expertise lies in home electrical services. No task is too minor. From fixing a broken breaker to running electricity to a pool pump or connecting a detached garage. Our team will troubleshoot the issue and address it as soon as possible. We take pride in our craftsmanship and always aim to ensure the job site is cleaner than when we arrived. Our goal is to create meaningful connections with our clients because we recognize the challenges of dealing with large corporations. We want to reintroduce the personal connection to the trades.

I began my journey in my teenage years through participation in electrical competitions. I competed at the regional, state, and nationally stages. I had the chance to achieve state champion back-to-back for Georgia and placed third in the national event. From that point on, I dreamed of start my own electrical business. Having worked under various experienced electricians for years, I knew it was time to go out on my own. I met my wonderful wife, Taylor, in 2019 and we married in 2022. Our daughter, Stella Grace, was born in 2023, which temporarily paused my business plans. I kept doing electrical projects in my spare time to support my little family. Still, it has always been my passion to pursue electrical work full-time. And here I stand with Oshields Electric. This is my commitment to better my family’s life and ideally positively impacting everyone I serve.

I grew up in this beautiful region of North Georgia. Since my days in high school competitions and my experience in the electrical field after graduation, I’ve nurtured a strong love for the electrical trade. I used to do commercial and heavy-duty electrical work as an employee of Georgia Power. But, nothing gives me more pride engaging in residential electrical work. Having personal conversations with customers is consistently my favorite part of this work. I believe that building personal relationships with my clients is just as vital as establishing a professional rapport. I don’t aim to one more electrical contractor who comes at your home, finishes the task, and only discusses how much you owe. I am convinced that you can be a competent business owner while also offering the compassion that many places lack today.
