Company Overview

Our company is a family-owned Christian enterprise. We focus on domestic electrical solutions. No job is too small. Ranging from replacing a faulty breaker or installing power for a pool pump or connecting a detached garage. We are ready to diagnose the problem and address it promptly. We take pride in our craftsmanship and make it a point to maintain a tidy work environment. We aim to foster personal relationships with our clients because we recognize the challenges of dealing with large corporations. Our mission is to bring back the personal connection to the trades.

I first got involved in secondary school by competing in electrical competitions. I competed at the regional, state, and national levels. I was able to win state champion back-to-back for Georgia and achieved third in the national event. Since then, I was determined to start my own electrical business. Following my time under many skilled electricians for years, I decided it was time to go out on my own. I was introduced to my amazing wife, Taylor, in 2019 and tied the knot in 2022. Our daughter, Stella Grace, was born in 2023, which put a hold on my business plans. I continued to do electrical jobs part-time to help provide for my young family. Yet, it has always been my dream to take on electrical work full-time. And here I stand with Oshields Electric. This is my commitment to enhance my family’s life and with the hope of positively impacting everyone I interact with.

I was born and raised in the North Georgia area. Ever since I participated in high school electrical contests and my experience in the electrical industry after graduation, I’ve harbored a genuine enthusiasm for the electrical trade. I have experience in business and heavy-duty electrical work as an employee of Georgia Power. Yet, nothing fulfills me like performing home electrical services. Having personal conversations with customers is consistently my preferred part of this work. I believe that developing personal connections with my clients is just as vital as upholding a professional rapport. I’ve never wanted to merely another electrical contractor who shows up at your home, completes the work, and only talks about how much you owe. I am convinced that you can run a professional business while also offering the understanding that is so often absent in today’s services.
