Having the whole house fan installed was one of the best investment we've ever made. With several windows open this fan pulls a great amount of cool air from outside through the house and reduce the inside temperature in a short period of time. We have had the product for only 2 days but have reduced our AC usage by approximately 40%. The best part about this whole installation process was having it done by Chris from OCE. Chris was recommended to us by one of our neighbors who had the fan installed a few months back. Chris is a really nice and sincere guy. His work ethics is incredible. From the initial contact to the installation itself, Chris was very professional. He went well above and beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend Chris to anyone who wants excellent and professional service at reasonable prices.

Chris at OC Electric could teach a class to other contractors on how to provide excellent customer service. He arrived on time, was very personable, cleaned up during and after the project, and there were no surprises.

While researching whole house fans, I really wanted the largest unit available. We received several quotes and narrowed it down to two whole house fan manufactures-the QuiteCool Trition 5.5 vs. the ST 4500

The ""other"" company came to our home and told us that our attic fan was dead and needed to be ripped out and replaced along with adding the whole house fan. Their quote for installing their top of the line, 4500 CFM whole house fan and an attic fan was $3200. They offered us financing.....

After talking to Chris about the QuietCool whole house fan, he convinced me that I would be paying way too much money for the larger unit so he we went with the QC Stealth 4.8. And the attic fan that was supposedly dead, Chris took a look at it and was able to simply adjust the thermostat and it started working again. You gotta love a contractor that doesn't try to over sell. He saved us close to 60% of what the other guys were proposing.

Lastly, we were amazed the first night of using the whole house fan. We stood at the top of the stairs, turned on the unit, felt a warm breeze being sucked up through the stairway, and then ultimately, we felt cool air flow. Our downstairs area has always had airflow issues and remained very hot hours after the sunset. The whole house fan cooled our downstairs area by about 8 degrees in less than 10 minutes. If you're thinking about adding a whole house fan, do it and if OC Electric is available, hire him. You will not regret it.

Just had Chris Hodge install a quiet cool whole house fan and am more than pleased with the efficiency of the unit as well as the professional manner in which he conducted his business....Chris went up and above what was expected even replaced some of the insulation in the attic space. Such a pleasure to work with a contractor who shows up early, completes on time and leaves the work area clean... I should have done this years ago....

We had arranged to have Chris install Quietcool whf today but ended up not having it installed. Chris surveyed the house and attic and told us it was not possible to install the unit where we wanted it. Additionally Chris voiced concern that our attic may not have enough vents to accommodate the volume of air coming in from the house. We ended up with no install but did find an electrician we can go to for any future needs.

I got quiet cool system installed today, Chris arrived on time, he was very professional and did everything great, he is also white gloves, protect furniture and floor before, and cleaning out all dirt after installation, Quiet Cool System is working great! I highly recommend and thank you Chris.

After calling around for multiple bids to have a Quite Cool fan installed, I decided to go with Chris at Orange County Electric for several reasons. First, he is a local small business owner who did the work himself and did not contract it out to a different crew. (In other words, I only dealt with Chris.)

Also, the prices he quoted were lower than other bids I received. He also patiently explained and answered all my questions. Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product he was installing. I had heard of the system but did not fully understand how it functions or how to determine the size unit I needed for my house.

Additionally, Chris arrived on time and completed the job in a reasonable time frame. He even cleaned after completing the job.

As for the system itself, I simply love it. It reduces my overall energy usage. For example, I no longer have to use the air conditioner all night nor in the early morning. The Quiet Cool fan has been the most effective way to cool my house.

A little over a month ago Chris came and installed a QuietCool system in my house and I've got to say I really love it. It's been hot during the day so I've been running it all night since I've had it. I was curious to see what my electric bill would be and I was happy that it was only $84. If I had been running my AC to keep my house in the low 70s every night my bill would've been $300.
My neighbor recommended that I use Chris and now I'm recommending him to my friends. If you are considering a QuietCool you have found your guy!

Desperately needed a whole house fan to supplement the A/C in the summer. After dragging my feet for a few years I finally did a bit a research and Quiet Cool fans checked all the boxes. Through QC's website I found OC Electric were in my neck of the woods. I contacted them and spoke with Chris the owner of OC Electric. We made an appointment and Chris methodically assessed my home and gave me his suggested equipment list. In addition to his suggested equipment we also opted for a WIFI controller and within a few days they were ready for installation. To my surprise Chris was at my front door to install the fan! Smoothest installation of any equipment I've had installed in my home. Chris's professionalism and expertise were greatly appreciated. Extremely satisfied with the QC fan and zero issues with the installation. Highly recommend Orange County Electric and their line of Quiet Cool whole house fans. As an aside, because of OC Electrics great customer service I had them upgrade my old electrical panel to a 200 amp service and install new lighting through out the house. A1 service all around.

We recently had several things done at our house by Orange County Electric: Installation of a Quiet Cool Whole House Fan, some upgrades to our electrical panel that were desperately needed, and installation of GFCI outlets to bring our house up to code. Once I called and spoke to Chris, the owner, he was very quick to come by and review what was needed. He is very straight forward, no sales games, and does excellent work at a fair price. We love the whole house fan, wish we'd done that many years earlier, could have saved a lot more money on electricity over the years!! We also feel much better having proper electrical around the kitchen, bathrooms and garage. What was a bit of a mess is now safe and up to code.

I'm a contractor myself, but I am NOT an electrician. I have worked with many of them over the years and have to say that Chris is the best of the best. If you need a whole house fan or ANY electrical work done, save yourself time and hassle and just call Chris at Orange County Electric. Honest, quality work at a fair price. You'll be happy you called him.

We had our Quiet Cool house fan installed by Chris from Orange County Electric about 2 weeks ago and it has been amazing!

Chris gave us a great quote, was very quick to respond to all of our questions, and was super informative in helping us to determine the best fan size/placement for our home.

Installation was very easy to schedule, and Chris was very prompt the morning of. We discussed the best spots for the vent and control, and they both look great!
