We have been using Orange County Electric for the past eight years. The first time Chris came out, he moved all the wires, that draped from the telephone pole to our roof, underground. This was done in accordance to SCEC guidelines. At the same time he replaced our circuit breaker box, doubling the capacity. He has wired and installed recessed lighting and pendant lighting in several rooms of our house. This past week, in 90 degree weather, our air conditioner stopped working. We had an air conditioner company come to check out the problem and they said it was electrical so we called Chris at Orange County electric. After thoroughly going over the system, Chris correctly diagnosed the problem as NOT electric, but as an air-conditioning issue. He recommended a reputable company which came the very next day. We highly recommend Orange County Electric. A professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy business.

I've used a handful of different electricians in my lifetime and Chris is a super cool , honest guy. I called him about a whole house fan and he asked me questions about my house and what rooms I wanted cool. He explained the 2 units that would work and what he recommended. We set up an install date and he came and knocked it out and explained everything to me. And you know what else ? Something not many people do anymore. He text me a few days later and asked how I liked it and how everything was going. Not many people do that anymore. Chris installed an EV charger and rewired the panel for us. We exchanged all the information about the project via text messages, including the quote. Amazing! I was referred to Chris by friend of mine. I told her I was looking for someone honest, trustworthy, licensed, and knew what they were doing when it came to electricity. Chris fit the bill for all of these expectations. I had a long list of jobs that I needed done. Everything from installing multiple ceiling fans, hanging a variety of chandeliers, installing our Ring doorbell, removing and replacing outside light fixtures around the house, fixing outlets, and installing 5 new electrical outlets outside the house. Chris showed up on time, worked hard all day, and left my home clean. He used drop cloths and pays close attention to details. I was referred to Chris by a very trusted friend. Our electricity bill has been outrageous lately. We live in an older house in with a very old AC Unit that is ALWAYS on. My friend Susan told me about her whole house fan and how much it saved her with her ac/electric bills.

I reached out to Chris to get an estimate of exactly what type of unit our house needed as well as some questions I had. He took the time to explain to me what the benefits were to having a whole house fan vs ac (the outside temp has to be cooler than the temp inside your house). So awesome in the evenings. I also appreciated his honesty when he let me know that we didn't need to spend extra money for a larger unit than what our house's size required.

Chris was very professional and prompt in ordering the unit and during the installation. Most importantly, he reached out to me weeks after the install to see how everything was going with our unit and if there was anything he could do. Highly recommend both a whole house fan and Chris.

He brought extra rug to cover the carpet and cleaned up all debris after the work. He is professional and responsible personnel.

The fan is a little noisier than I expected, but it cools down my house when the outside temperature is low enough.
