We had a problem with our electrical connection. Basically it was overloaded; I reached out to Omega Electrical via Yelp and they responded quickly.
After explaining our electrical issue, Nelson provided us with a quote. The rates were reasonable and we were able to schedule an appointment for his team to come out that same week.

The electricians showed up on time, wearing face masks and explained the work they would be doing and wasted no time. They were professional and worked efficiently. They got the job done done promptly and we have not had any problems since.

The weather has been really hot and it's great not having to worry about our A/C shutting off every few minutes. I was really pleased with the work that the team at Omega Electrical did and I would recommend them to anyone facing electrical problems.

Nelson, who was the one I was in contact with is super fast with answering questions and is very prompt. He would even reply past normal business hours which is a plus. Quoting and setting up an appointment was quick and easy.

The electricians came right on time at 6am in the morning to start the job of the main breaker panel upgrade. I was going from a 100 to 200amp panel. Additionally, I asked to help upgrade my doorbell transformer for my Nest Hello because it was not receiving enough voltage. Separately from what I was originally quoted for, I also asked the electricians to help install a new Nest Thermostat that I just recently purchased. They installed outdoor outlets where I asked them to put one. They also fixed a bad bathroom outlet with a blown circuit.

I would totally recommend these guys since they were the most affordable out of the companies that I inquired about. They were respectful, quick, and did an amazing job! They did all the work that I wanted in a day's time! Kudos to the team. Would recommend 5*

I needed an expert Electrician to install the recessed lights that we bought. Sal & Adolfo did an exceptional job.

The appointment time was set at 8am and they were already starting at that time. For me that's very respectful.

They were knowledgeable and polite. Whenever we ask for a suggestion, they have the answer.

Lastly, Sal saw that me and my wife were having trouble putting texture on wall and he helped us out even though it's time for him to go home. They go above and beyond their duties which is very impressive.

The electrical outlet had a short which caused other outlets not to work. Omega Electrical came out and determined problem and fixed it in a timely manner

Got an EV charger installed. Nelson was very patient with answering my questions while I got a quote and gave me several options for installation with our limited breaker capacity. The electricians came a few minutes early with masks and got the job done in 5 hours and were very professional.

I made an appointment for today at 11 and literally no one showed up or even called to cancel. When I reached out they set another appointment time and I have to call in to work to make it work, then they emailed to cancel that appointment too! I've now had to take time off twice and they flaked both times. Each time I got a condescending email saying they would always be there for my electrical needs... well clearly not.

Update:

After discovering that Nelson's technician made the mistake on using an used 70 amp breaker vs. a 20 on my home, another technician came out and fixed it very promptly.

However, after the fix Nelson sent me an updated invoice in which the part cost tripled from $50 to $147. I called to ask how the cost gone up so much he said it's because it was a refurbish part to a new part. I requested an itemized list of parts since I felt like cost tripling was insane between a new and old and he revised the invoice down to $90. I understand that businesses should have a markup, it's cost of doing business but that's still a 20x markup. Keep in mind this is on top of the $150 of labor cost he's charging me for the 1.5 hours of work.

All in all I gave a 5 star review because despite the mistake they made the first round because I understand errors happen, Nelson took care of it promptly, but this whole billing scheme and going and back and forth just seems dishonest. Would not recommend. Always itemize, or better yet get the parts yourself.

On time and efficient! Everyone was wearing a mask and careful around my furniture. I had a light switch that wasn't working and turns out the power went out so they had to open up the fuse box and figure out which wire was bad. Then they looked at the bathroom fan to figure out if it was the motor. Considering how small my bathroom is, they managed pretty well. At the end of the day, the technicians took the time to investigate the issue and resolved it to my satisfaction. The GFI was bad and they had the part to fix it. Really glad I called Omega. Nelson got me in literally the next day and that was amazing!
