Nobody tells you that once you purchase an EV (electric vehicle) that the Level 1 charger that comes with it is practically useless.

For the size of my car battery (about the same size as Tesla Model 3), a level 1 charger that plugs into a standard US 110V wall outlet would charge my car to 100% in just about 40 hours! Fantastic.

Not so fantastic, actually. ENTER Omega Electrical -- OMEGA *these* guys were fantastic.

As I'm not so well versed with electrical components, I figured I'd hire a pro and Omega was professional and responsive both on Yelp and on the day of service.

Over the course of two (2) service days and just under $500, Omega was able to install my ChargePoint Home Flex to charge my car fully in just under 9 hours! Note that the EVSE (charging equipment) is sold separately.

Would definitely recommend for all your electrical needs around the house!

Whatever you do; do not use this company. I got a quote over the phone for work to install a new outlet at $650 which I assumed would be somewhat accurate. When they came out to do the work I confirmed the details of the work and they completed it. It took them an hour longer than what they quoted me. After the work was completed I asked to confirm the total so I can provide payment and they informed me the office would contact me with the final invoice. A day later I received the invoice and it was almost $1200.
I called them immediately asking for an explanation at why it doubled and the guy mentioned it was because it was more work, more materials, more time etc. I was furious! I was furious at the fact that this was no where near the quote nor was I informed of the difference before they even did the work. If they would have been fair and informed me it was going to cost so much more upfront I would not have even considered using this company. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Just moved to Corona and was looking for someone to fix our video doorbell. After having a handyman come out to install we noticed it didn't work. Looked around for an electrician and Omega responded quickly and we set up an appointment. After troubleshooting, they decided the best thing to do was to pull some electricity from an existing switch. Our doorbell now works. Thanks Omega and we will call you soon to install our video cameras!!

Omega Electrical did a great job for us, they answered my request for a bid the same night that I sent out the need for help. Omega showed up the next day with all of the items needed to make our repairs and finish all work, cleaned up and sent out the billing information the next day. We are completely satisfied with all of the work that was performed and completed.

I'd like to start off by saying I hate giving low ratings, especially to small companies, but I did not have a good experience. I was looking for someone to add a simple light to each of our 3 bedrooms.

Everything started off great; great quote, very responsive, and they were available within a few days to get started.

The day of, they sent two workers who got here on time and I showed them around. Right away, I asked if this seemed like it would be 5 hours like they estimated. The guy responded that he wasn't sure until he looked in the attic. I let them get started and told them I'd be in my living room if they needed me.

Fast forward an hour, one worker came down and said he needed to cut a hole in my wall to pull wires. I wasn't too happy about this seeing as we just got our walls painted, but figured if that was the only way, ok. Didn't hear from them again until they came down and said they needed to run to get more materials. This was 4 hours into the job. They were gone a little over 30 minutes. Came back and worked for another 2 1/2 hours..

Finally they were done after 7 hours (mind you this was a 5 hour estimate and no one came to check in that it would be that much longer) and asked me to sign a paper with the time it took and parts I was going to be charged for. I had NOT notified that I'd be paying for any additional things other than ""possibly wiring"" and all of a sudden there were multiple things on this list.
I also didn't get my final total which made me nervous.

I go upstairs to see the job they did and I was glad to see the lights worked HOWEVER there was a hole in EACH room and in one room , 2 holes. They did patch it but did not sand and left a mess all over my floor. They never put anything down on the ground before they worked so not only was there stuff from patching stuck to my carpet, but stuff from the attic on the floor from cutting a hole. Most companies put down a tarp and clean up after themselves. Now I have to buy and repaint sections of each part of the rooms.

Later that night I get the invoice and it is almost DOUBLE what I was quoted. I couldn't believe it. I completely understand estimates and quotes are just ball parks but for it to be doubled was ridiculous. I messaged the owner with questions and my concerns over this and he responded but did nothing about it. I mentioned that I never consented to these extra items that I was being charged for that the workers went to buy as well as the holes in walls and how I had to repaint. This was very unprofessional.

Omega Electrical is super responsive and does seemingly complicated stuff without issue. I had called them to fix some outlets and at the same time, my gardener said I needed an outlet for the sprinkler timer. There wasn't anything there for that, but since they were there they created the proper outlet on the spot! I was so grateful that it was taken care of right there and then. I would definitely recommend them.

I needed a timer switch replaced and was given an estimate of 30 minutes to complete the job. After about 45 minutes I was told the job was done and the technician began packing up to leave. When I asked him to test the timer before going we discovered that the lights didn't turn on or off. After about 30 more minutes he told me it was complete. This time the lights were on when the timer said it was off and vice versa. He tried to tell me it was OK so I had to insist he fix it. After an additional 45 minutes we were able to confirm it worked correctly. The total time was about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Afterward I called and asked them to send someone else just to check the job because I had little confidence the wiring was done correctly. They refused unless I pay another service fee.

We had a short in a light switch, as it turned out. Power was out throughout the livingroom and in parts of the dining room and kitchen. Omega's man showed up wearing a mask (thank you very much!) at the scheduled hour, took a look at our panel outside (my first thought, too) and tested outlets. Within one hour he had identified and repaired the problem. We were very pleased.
