OHMS Electric (Drew) promptly responded to my request for assistance. Drew helped me to understand PG&E's application process for new meter installation and relocation of an existing meter. Drew has a rock solid understanding of PG&E's process that correspond to the documents, diagrams, reports, photos and related information that PG&E needs. Drew took time to answer my questions and provide me with information to consider. Drew responded to my Yelp request within 30mins and was able to connect with me over the phone afterwards. He requested pictures of our panel for our potential EV install and was able to come out the next morning. Even though we couldn't install the EV charger as planned due to older panel issues he was able to provide us with alternative solutions that wouldn't cost us an arm and a leg instead of having to do major upgrades. He also looked at another outlet issue we had and fixed it for us at the same time. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend him for future jobs!

Hi. Reached out to OHMS Electric for an estimate to install an EV charger in our garage. A job which is unfortunately not straightforward for us. Drew spent a considerable amount of time walking me through my options with details I appreciated. In the end, he gave me sound advice on what he would do if it were his own home (and hint - it wasn't the most expensive option). I have referred them to our community and will be using them in the future for all of my electrical needs. I highly recommend that you contact them and get an estimate for your electrical needs!

I was very pleased with my experience with OHMS electric. I reached out to several electrical contractors through Yelp and OHMS was one of the first to reply, and they immediately engaged and found a way to add me to their schedule for later the same day to do some electrical diagnostic work. Morgan communicated when he was on his way and was very friendly and professional when he and his team arrived. He identified the problem very quickly and was able to fix it on the spot, and then I had him also do some additional repair work that was needed to get the panel into good order. Electrical work is not cheap, but Morgan was very transparent with how he communicated the cost to expect (on the phone and when he bid the additional work), and I felt what he charged was reasonable compared to what others would have charged. I also liked that he wasn't hesitant at all to explain what he found and even give me suggestions on other things that I wasn't paying him to do. Seemed like he truly just wanted to help. Overall, the whole process was very easy and I'm glad I found OHMS to do this work. Finding contractors who are honest, professional, reliable, friendly and reasonable isn't easy; I will certainly work with them again and recommend them to others.

Drew was friendly, professional, intelligent, and got right to work. Job was completed in under 2 hours and the work appears to be quite clean.
Drew took the time to do a walkthrough of the completed work and even pointed out the important pages of the Wallbox manual and marked the page with the OCR barcode to download the software.
Unit works great. Super pleased.

OHMS Electric was great to work with! I called Drew about a faulty outlet in my home (which was connected to my garbage disposal--everything stopped working), thinking the project might be too small for an electrician to take on. But OHMS was more than up to the task.

Drew scheduled me within a week, arrived on time, and fixed my issue promptly! I especially appreciated how he talked me through every step of the diagnosis; his explanations were clear & helped clarify some electrical oddities about that outlet I'd never been aware of! I was so pleased with their services, and thought the price was fairly quoted.

I would use OHMS Electric again in a heartbeat, and for an even bigger project down the line.

UPDATE: I called them back for a ceiling fan installation, and per usual, they did a fabulous job.

We hired OHMS Electric to install several ceiling fans, add outlets (interior and exterior), hardwire some new Nest smoke detectors, and troubleshoot and correct the previous owner's weird electrical configurations. What makes OHMS Electric stand out is the flexibility to address issues and the expertise that allows them to pivot and problem-solve while always communicating and explaining what they are doing as the work progresses. We recommended OHMS to my sister, and they removed lighting and installed new can lights, which came out spectacular. Drew and his team at OHMS Electric are always friendly, responsive, and professional. I'm not surprised they have a five-star rating on Yelp! We found our go-to electrician and will continue to use them for our future electrical needs. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a project that needs a licensed electrician.

Great group of guys. I sent a request on Yelp for an electrical system analysis after a massive water damage event and Drew did an outstanding job, very professional. I had 2-3 other electricians out to quote the same job and they barely touched the electrical and charged an outrageous site fee but never followed up with a report. Drew followed up with a detailed report and continues to stay in touch as we wait on Insurance. Since that time, I had other issues in the house including some lights that were acting goofy and a project to install a Generator transfer switch and Drew was quick to provide a reasonable quote on Yelp. Can't recommend these guys enough, you'll be in good hands. Also -- Drew usually shows up with his cute pup in his backpack which is pretty dang cool!
