Pete helped with the Tesla EV charger installation at my home. Pete was quick to respond, knowledgeable, and able to converse virtually to get an idea of what it will take before scheduling the visit (he also offered to visit for a quick look). He accommodated our schedule and installed the wall connector in an hour! His quote was one of the best prices after contacting about a dozen contractors. We are pleased with his work and recommend him.

Pete's work was great and I'd hire him again. I had four outlets installed in new areas where creative planning was involved to route from other outlets. He came and gave an estimate for the work and returned soon after to perform the tasks. He consulted with me on each installation location to get my preferences and confirm/adjust costs if adjustments were needed. The finished product was clean and professional.

Pete came out fast at a visit cost that turned out unfortunately to be a sunk cost with the issue unresolved.

My experience

Note key word ""might"" in the below communication, which I overlooked and did not confirm exact breaker part was available.
Totally my haste and oversight.

""I can come take a look for you. I also carry many different main breakers that might save you money.""

- Did not have replacement breaker that fit
- $125 visit to diagnose and try out main breaker replacement on hand and $50 for ""special work"" because meter ring from SCE was not unlocked.

Outcome of diagnostic charges:
Panel needs to be replaced because electrician cannot replace bus and main circuit breaker.

Price quoted for main panel replacement competitive but will get other quotes before deciding next steps as it was a learning experience to be avoided - IMHO.

Opting to go with someone else to fix issue.

Recommend yelpers paying attention to number of reviews, review content of reviews carefully and proceed cautiously.
