We've had Tom look into a few problems for us, and in both cases, we found Julien and him to be very responsive, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure they do the right thing for our situation.

Most recently, Tom and Julien helped us figure out the best way to pull in more power for a new AC unit. They helped us estimate various options (ranging from upgrading out panel, to shuffling around a few things on our existing panel), and came back to check on things after the AC unit was installed, just to make sure things were working properly. It is clear that they take pride in their work, which is of great quality. We'd be happy to call them again if we need electrical work done.

Super impressed by this electrician. I called to explain my problem and he asked a few questions and provided some suggestions to try and relieve the problem. And guess what? He didn't have to come out! He provided these suggestions over the phone free of charge in order to save me money. He could've come out and made the suggestions and charged me, but didn't.

My electrical issues have resolved with his suggestions. Love that he was ACTUALLY doing what is best for the customer.

(To be clear he offered to come out and take a look if Instill wanted him to or if the suggestions didn't work.). I will be calling him again if I have any more electrical issues.

On a Saturday, after exchanging texts and photos of the situation, Tom arrived in 20 minutes, replaced our burned-out fire-hazard socket, and was gone 10 minutes later, during which he explained to me the general problem, ways to mitigate, how it affects other units in the condo, etc.. All this after spending all day Friday trying to get a hold of electricians who were either already fully-booked or not responding.

Tom was great, my husband called him up in the morning to come over and check our electrical box since something funny was going on with one of the breakers. He came about an hour after. He was extremely thorough, checked all areas where we were having issues. He is very knowledgeable and professional. An added bonus for me was he is Irish as am I, so it was great to chat about that also :) I would highly recommend Tom for any job, he may be a bit pricey compared to other companies, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for, and this is true in the case of Tom, he is a top notch electrician!
