We had an issue this morning with our power and we narrowed it down to possible issues with the electric panel. I call Ochoa Electric and spoke to a kind person named Regina. She put me on the books for an emergency service and Eddy showed up very soon after.

Customer service: Wonderful! Regina was friendly, she listened to my concerns and scheduled me asap. Eddy was also friendly and took time to explain what was wrong, how he was gng to fix it and answered all of our questions regarding future use and options to replace our old outdated panel.

Work: holy smokes he figured it out and fixed it lickity split! Very impressive!

We're definitely going to continue working with Ochoa Electric in the future and I recommend you do too!

Eddie and his team (Another named Eddie and Miguel) just finished installing 2 pendant lights above my kitchen island. I'm so happy with the end result I had to jump on here and give my 5 star review! First off, I contacted Ochoa Electric and immediately Regina booked an appt for a quote. Eddie stopped by to give me an estimate and explained what was going to be done into detail. His prices are very reasonable. He and his team were able to book me the very next day. When they arrived, I explained what I wanted in terms of measurement and placement of pendant lights. They understood and communicated well throughout the whole process. Ok, so I needed a connection to my house for a generator I bought just in case of a power grid failure. Two other electricians were unable to do the job. Then I found Ochoa Electric. Eddy Ochoa came to the house and told me exactly what was needed. He returned with his crew and did a beautiful job, carefully explaining to me what needs to be done before connecting the generator to the house. I found Ochoa Electric when I needed an electric panel upgrade and they gave a competitive bid and fit me into their schedule in time for my SDG&E appointment. Other electricians had said it was a complicated installation but Ochoa has a ""can do"" attitude. Their crew is experienced, knowledgeable, and efficient and found creative solutions for obstacles that troubled the other bidders.

I was so happy with their work that I hired them to rewire my old house! They grounded all the outlets, solved the mysteries of my circuits which caused power outages last winter, added new recessed lighting, and created a map of my circuits and then dedicated one for the kitchen and add a few new ones that I needed for modern appliances. They also sorted out some anomalies, such as the microwave being on the same circuit as the laundry room, and paired it more logically with the stove. Then last week when my water heater exploded, they found time to come on short notice to set up a new circuit for my new electric water heater.

What I love the most about this team is that they alert me to problems and ask me before doing anything that's not in the plan. Then they're willing to troubleshoot problems and find a variety of solutions if I don't like the first idea they offer me, versus so many contractors who just do whatever without even alerting me to an issue and asking my opinion. And they show up on time in professional-looking uniforms.
