Best description of this company is ""PREMIUM QUALITY SERVICE WITH AN UNBEATABLE PRICE!!"" Working with this company was easy and informative every step of the way. John filed paperwork with HECO and DHHL office to ensure everything was approved and kept us informed at all times. Very professional service and installation was done in 3 days for 40+ panels AWESOME SERVICE!! I would recommend this company to anyone who is on a budget and wants GREAT SERVICE!!!!!

Wooohooo... we just got our solar panels(PV System) installed. I looked at several companies and made my final decision to go with Ocean Head Solar & Electric based on the cost. From the beginning our consultant John Yeh was awesome. Never did I feel rushed or pressured into buying anything. John explained the process very thoroughly. He got us the approval through HECO & our association in a timely manner. Gail and the staff were on top of things. They were able to start half a day earlier and finished on time. Their staff arrived on time and did an awesome job with the installation. We are so excited!! Thank you John, Gail & everyone at Ocean Head Solar.. oh and thank you ASB for approving our loan!! We would recommend OceanHead Solar & Electric over and over again. We were apprehensive at first but John Yeh met with us promptly to explain the process and answer all questions. He took care of all the paperwork with HECO and our home association. Gail and Michelle worked with us to get what we expected from a solar system, even though we really didnt know. They worked with us to position the batteries where we thought was best for weather. They set us up to have power IN the house through an outage (we learned this is not automatic, so ask up front). They showed up on site to check on the progress and final product. Michelle actually inspects their work and applies the stickers!

The electricians and installers were professional, friendly, and good at what they do. The pipes and lines are clean and neat. Though it rained, they worked safe to get our system up and running.

Sorry so long, but one last thing... we contacted five solar companies before deciding on Oceanhead. They were tops in response time, communication, reliability, listening to our needs, knowing our community, and Price! ($20,000 less than some of the others)

I worked with Chelli and gave her the information I wanted, she was very professional and caring.  She provided me with my needs and didn't try to oversell me.  
After the installation, she kept checking on me to make sure I understood the website correctly.  When she noticed an error from Generac, she quickly contacted them to correct it.  After our conversation, she wanted to follow up in 30 days to make sure everything was to my satisfaction.
Their installation team was very professional and did a great job.
I highly recommend  their services.

If you insist on doing business with top notch, reliable and friendly professionals this is your place. I sent an email requesting information about repair / maintenance of my PV system and to my surprise received a call back within minutes. I have also worked with John Yeh (Business Development Manager) before and can tell you that his word is gold, he returns emails, texts and phone calls within minutes (not hours) and you will find him to be as knowledgeable, honest and friendly a professional as you'll ever work with. I also spoke with Chelli and like John, she was the consummate professional and responds very quickly. Highly recommended!

Our solar panels were not secured properly by the previous solar company we used.We would have never known if we weren't selling our house and the home inspector pointed it out.We called Oceanhead and they came right out and fixed the problem. Disclaimer: This is a review for a ceiling fan installation they performed, not involving solar panels.
I hired this company to install 4 ceiling fans I had purchased. They quoted me 600-800 for the job and that it would take a day to complete after coming to my home and surveying the installation, less if I helped the electrician pre-assemble the fans. The electrician they sent was very friendly and professional but slow. Since they only charge by the hour, I tried to help out as much as possible with the installation. I even drove to Home Depot to buy supplies I that he did not account for in the original estimate. By the time everything was said and done, it took 2 full days to finish, I personally spent 8 hours of my own time assisting with the installation and cleaning after it was done, and i was charged $1,200 even after a price reduction for the job. I am rating 2 stars on the inability to complete a proper estimate for labor and supplies, as well as poor customer service when attempting to sort out the final billing.

Ok, called them to get an estimate for having a c-wire installed on our Nest thermostat. Their ad says they work on AC as well as electrical. The lady on the phone could not have been more unwelcoming! Wanted to send someone to my house for a minimum charge of $200 just to look at it, but not do anything. Excuse me? Then she says, ""you know we are electricians, right?"" Um, yeah, but your ad specifically says AC. To which she replies, ""yeah, we sell it, but we don't usually maintenance."" Um, your ad says you do... Seriously?
