As always, Mark came through and worked with my schedule to replace several items in my dad's house that had broken. He is absolutely the BEST electrician in Malibu. Very reasonable prices and honest reliable service. Plus, he's just NICE! Will always use him, including for my Rebuild after Woolsey.

Mark, who is Ocean Electric, came to bid on our job that does require some finesse, as it is old wiring and outlets in a guest house and it isn't going to be easy to complete the work. He gave me a decent estimate, then spent a month delaying about when he would come to do the job. I texted and called repeatedly. First he told me has was on a big project, had to finish that. Finally, weeks after he initially bid on the job, he told me he didn't want to do the work, it was going to be too complicated. I told him that he could have told me that a month ago and I would have found someone else. Then he started arguing with me, telling me that he had informed me of that when he came to give me an estimate. Seriously, we aren't in middle school. You are running a business, I am a potential customer, act professionally. Stay away from this guy, he's completely flaky not to mention confrontational when called on it.

Mark is a trusty and reliable electrician and friend for 23 years. His work is good and price right. He shows up on time and works in the dusty, most spidery spots on the property...so he is brave, too.

Mark came out today and diagnosed and fixed my wiring problem promptly and at a very reasonable charge. I highly recommend him. He has not figured out how to change his phone number with Yelp, however. His number is 310-456-1117.
