First time user of OC Pro Electric. Spoke with Jim and received a quote on recessed lighting installation for our home. Made an appointment and OC PRO Mark arrived early for the project which was a positive start considering the task was estimated to take 3+ hrs and required the tech to be in and out of the attic. Mark was great and very professional. Did a wonderful job and clean up. Could not ask more of any trade and would certainly recommend OC PRO ELECTRIC for your project! Fair price and great team !

Wanted to change all old fashion lights and replace it with rattan and bamboo pendants from Indonesia and Philippine (1 is in a high ceiling, quite risky job) they took out all the old one and when found the popcorn ceiling they retextured it. Good communication during the job and leave the area cleaned after the job done. Thank you for the best service. Definitely gonna use this company again in the future!

I bought a house in Rancho Santa Margarita last summer and it came with some electrical issues: things ranging from oddball hard-to-troubleshoot electrical ""gremlins"" to more obvious problems like loose or malfunctioning power outlets.

We previously hired another business to fix these issues, but that business was unable to diagnose the tricky issues, and actually made some of the simpler issues much worse!

I finally called Jim Nesmith of OC Pro Electric on a neighbor's stellar recommendation. My family and I could not be happier that we did. OC Pro Electric gave me an appointment time just one day out, and sent Mark who arrived exactly on time (actually 5 minutes early) the day of service.

Mark was a true professional and pleasure to work with, plus overall good person to boot. I took a long time to explain the electrical issues I had observed, including any instances where the other business may have worsened things, and Mark listened patiently the entire time. Mark provided a very reasonable estimate and was extremely efficient as he worked. I could tell that he is a master of his craft, but more importantly, puts the customer first and is highly trustworthy. Mark was also proactive in explaining all of the work being done (I am not handy at all and really appreciated that) and has a sharp eye for places where there is room to improve electrical safety. It's also worth mentioning that unlike many other service providers, Mark did not try to upsell me into anything that I didn't need; in fact, Mark offered great guidance on what items I requested would be of highest value versus lowest value.

As an example of how careful these guys are - part of the work Mark did for me was re-wiring my ceiling fans to be operated by light switches rather than remote controls. That involved climbing into my attic and routing wires through very tight spaces. For this part of the job, Mark called in his colleague Manny so it could be properly done as a two-person job, one person working in the attic and the other person working in the bedroom. From experience, many other businesses would have tried to do everything with just one person in order to save a buck, but OC Pro Electric and Mark did the right thing for the customer! Similarly, I had Mark check a couple of the wall outlets that were previously installed by the other business we hired before, and he found some stunning lapses in safety protocol ... one of the outlets wasn't grounded at all, and another one had a wire so loose it was just about flopping around behind the receptacle!!! Mark carefully fixed each issue discovered without rushing the job, and my family - particularly my small children - feels so much more comfortable living in a home that we know is safe now. We also got some nice conveniences added, such as an outdoors power outlet with rain cover, so that I no longer have to run an extension cord to my sprinkler control box. All work, even that which required holes to be cut, was completely quickly, using high quality parts and labor, and best of all, cleaned up well afterwards. Unlike so many other similar businesses, OC Pro Electric leaves your home spotless after they are done working in it.

Big kudos to Mark, Manny, Jim, and the entire OC Pro Electric team for a brilliant experience! I will be using these guys exclusively for my electrical needs going forward.

Moved into house last month, and had some electrical issues that needed attention and really stumped our home inspector. I called Friday afternoon and they came out Monday morning! Mark did a great job diagnosing my bizarre electrical issue (it was a broken outlet that caused 2 rooms to act weird), took care of it quickly, and moved onto the rest of my list which included properly grounding several outlets in the living room / bathroom, installing the proper switch for a light, and also running our coax cable so that it wasn't running on the floor in the family room. He worked efficiently, was on time, and did a great job. I am not sure who did the crappy remodel job for the previous home owners, but Mark took care of them, and it cost a lot less than estimated due to his efficiency. Ended up to be $449 including labor and materials. I will definitely go to them when we are ready for lighting upgrades!
