NSW, and it's owner Jason, are excellent! Honest, knowledgeable and personable are the 3 outstanding attributes that immediately come to mind. The prices are very fair. My job turned out to take much longer than anticipated, due to substandard work of a previous electrician. Jason had to trouble shoot the situation and honorably charged me that same originally quoted price. I had him do two other minor items that same day which were also fairly priced. Jason has pride in his work and workmanship and that seems to be in short supply with many craftsmen and contractors today. Highly recommended!!!

This is a revision of my initial review of NSW. After some mis communication with Jason, he and His assistant Mo spent today at my house addressing a number of electrical issues.
Jason knows his stuff and both he and Mo put in a good days work, did a good job, and explained what they were doing along the way.
I recommend NSW for your electrical needs.

NSW Electrical Maintenance has helped me in more ways than none. My power been off for the last two days call ConEdison they told me basically power is coming in and they said call a electrician which I called NSW they found that my main breaker in the my panel is faulty so they recommend a panel swap now everything works. I would use them again and for the future

Jason is the best! I called on a Monday Bc my air conditioner was blowing a fuse and I got so scared maybe was something wrong with the wiring of my old house that we just purchased two weeks ago.... Jason came the next day and he was so honest and helpful about the situation and he ended coming Friday to fix the problem... he is so hands on and quick! I highly recommend hire him for any type of electrical.

Called Jason with a bad breaker that kept tripping. He came over, quickly diagnosed the problem and took steps to not only fix the problem, but also to make sure the problem didn't reoccur. Jason is Awesome!!! Finding NSW Electrical Maintenance has been the best thing working for me. I needed to replace my bathroom light fixture and was in dire need of having it done ASAP. Here comes Jason, polite, on point and professional. In less than 30 minutes, old fixture was removed, new fixture was installed and job was completed. He has such a pleasant aura. He took his time to listen to my other concerns regarding recessed lighting, under the cabinet lighting as well as track lighting. I will definitely have other work needed to be done in my home and Jason will be my go to guy.......he is truly Awesome !!!

We would 100% recommend Jason for the following reasons:

1. We called him on New Years Eve (12/31/17) and explained that we did not have heat. The wiring from our boiler to our thermostat was faulty. Jason immediately alleviated our concerns that he could be of assistance and he visited our house shortly thereafter. Yes, he came to our house on new years eve to help us out in need when no other electrician was available. He sacrificed his time, and his holiday schedule to help out strangers in need.

2. Jason was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and hard working. He took the time to hear of concerns, and explain everything in details so that we understood the electrical/heating problems that we were facing.

3. Jason cleaned up the work of our previous scammer electrician, who cut corners, left holes in our wall, left exposed wires everywhere, and who was unreliable.

All in all, we will gladly work with Jason again. In addition, we will recommend him to all our friends and family who need electrical assistance.

Look no further for an honest, hard working, reasonably priced, intelligent, and kind professional!!!!

Why I will hire Jason again after using four different electricians this year alone:

1. He is not money-hungry. I know my electrical box is a mess. Others were saying ""this needs to be replaced"". Jason said: ""It looks messy but it works and it's safe. Don't spend your money on this.

2. He is a nice guy. Not aggressive. Patient. Willing to redo things if necessary.

3. He actually brought in a mini vacuum and cleaned up his mess. This I have not seen before.

And of course, I was happy with the service Jason provided. Good guy; will definitely use again.
