It's taken me a while to get around to writing this review. They didn't show up for the first appointment bc/ they marked it down on the wrong day. They offered to come on another day. Normally I wouldn't have given them another chance, but my place was going to be inspected the next week. By that time, it was probably too late to get someone else to come in time.

They were 45 mins late to the second appointment. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with the hall way light. They did determine what was wrong with the kitchen light and replaced it.

He was unable to give me a receipt while there, but said he would send one to me that night. He didn't. I sent him an email and he said he would send one the next day. He didn't. This went on a couple more times. I needed the receipt in order to be reimbursed by my landlord.

The only good thing I could say is that he had a good bedside manner. That, however, isn't enough.

Working with Novus was great. I requested a quote for replacing a sub panel. They talked me through the differnt options and definitely didn't try to up sell me on anything. They gave a me A VERY competitive price, considering another electrician quoted 2x the price for the same work. They said they'd be able to complete the job in 1 day, and had to come briefly a second day because of technical surprises at my place and because they weren't supplied the right parts from their vendor (covid complications).

They did their job very well, and even a few last minute requests. I'd definitely recommend Novus!

I reached out to three separate electricians and Alex was the only one that called me back. Very professionalism polite. Showed up when he said he would and fixed the issue in less than 15 mins. I will be using him again when needed. I highly recommend Novus!

Loved that they showed up with masks and shoe coverings ! They hung out ceiling fan quickly and efficiently. They even helped troubleshoot an exposed wire in the backyard to ensure our safety before leaving! I felt safe, and want to have to help with electrical issues in the future! They were very professional al and nice.

Alejandro and his colleagues did an excellent job preparing the electrical service in our garage for the arrival of a ceramic kiln. The estimate was fair, neither the highest nor the lowest sought, and the work was done efficiently and very well. They worked hard, were pleasant and polite, and above all, competent. I will happily call Novus again should the need arise. I was especially impressed by Alejandro's friendly manner and obvious mastery of his field. I recommend Novus most highly.

Alex and his team were absolutely fantastic from initial consultation to finishing of the job. He was easy to communicate with and made things possible without any issues. We had a small job of installing ceiling fans and checking / fixing some electrical outlets. He was able to fit us in the schedule very quickly (thank God because this heat has been a killer) and the price was super reasonable especially during these hard times.

I really appreciated that they were right on time, worked in a very professional and clean manner, and were honest in the work they were doing. They cleaned up before leaving and the finished work was excellent.

I will definitely be using Novus again for all my electrical needs and you should consider it too!

I had a GFCI failure, with some visible sparking on a half plugged in appliance. I did as much as I felt safe doing from YouTube videos, and then decided to find an electrician. Noovus Electric was one of three businesses included on the request for qoute feature. Alex responded quickly, communicated clearly, and spent some time on the phone trying to make sure my problem wasn't self fixable. He provided a verbal quote (within a range) and a projected time to arrive the following day (which was Sunday). He texted to confirm in the morning and arrived on time. He and his helper had masks and shoe covers. Alex talked me through the fix for our original problem, replaced another faulty outlet we had identified, and then tested several other outlets and identified another faulty one, which he also replaced. Final charge was within the quote. We'll definitely save his contact information and would recommend him highly for small residential work like ours.

I'm very impressed with Alex. I asked him for another a second opinion on a report another electrician gave me who said I needed tens of thousands of dollars or work done. Alex was very honest and did an inspection and said I didn't need any of the work done. He took time to explain a lot of details to me and saved me a ton of money. He worked out some simple solutions and I feel so much better because of it. When we are ready to do some big electrical work, I will definitely call Novus. Thanks for all of your help Alex!

We're very happy with the work from Novus Electric. We originally were only to have someone come out for a quote on some minor electrical work for our hallway lights, but Alex was able to diagnose the problem and fix it within about an hour. Happy to have saved an extra appointment in order to get our problem fixed. Alex was courteous, polite, and we were especially happy that he thought to bring and wear protective covers for his shoes while in our home. We will definitely be calling Novus again if we have additional electrician needs.

Alex and his team were friendly and professional. I needed to update some outlets in an older home and the team was able to do it even though the home needs a lot of electrical work. I plan on having then give me an estimate to update the entire home because they are extremely trustworthy and reasonable.
