Rich Gobbell and his team did a great job installing 43 lights in our 20-year old home. Most are recessed LED's on dimmers in cathedral ceilings in five rooms that previously lacked built-in lighting. Rich was meticulous in making his estimate, listened carefully to what we wanted, made recommendations and carefully marked each location. His original estimate was reasonable, and he was clear about the cost of add-ons (which we did -- wiring in new exterior lights, putting replacement LED units in closets). The work was done on time, with no mess, and with the minimum of sheet-rock cutting (38 ""cookies"" in all). In addition, Rich recommended a full-service painter, Kris Kent of Kent Painting Co, whose team has done a fantastic job in repairing cracks and cookies and painting most of the house interior. I recommend Rich Gobbell and Northern Lights without hesitation.

I received 3 quotes from different electricians. I have the old fluorescent lights in my kitchen as well as a dark family room. We had an expired coupon for Northern lights. Rich gave us an estimate quickly . By the following week, we had set a day for installation. Mike and Doug were an awesome team- professional, friendly, experts In their field. Dust was kept to a minimum. By the end of the day I had new lights in my family room and my kitchen. I should've done this long time ago. I would highly recommend Northern Lights!

I love our recess lights that dims! Rich and his crew were very attentive and listened to what we wanted. We installed about 24 recess lights with dimmers included. I called Rich on a Tuesday and left him a message. I had seen his flier in the mail. Sometimes it is nice to use a company that sticks with what they do best rather than a ""Handyman Guy"" who says ""I think i can do that"". By Wednesday, I had not heard back from him, so I called again on Wednesday and left a second message. Rich immediately called me back. He apologized for not calling. He set up an appointment for an estimation on Thursday. He arrived at his promised time. He was very well prepared and seemed to genuinely love the work he did. He stated that he loves to come into beautiful homes and make them even more beautiful by giving them more light. He was able to have the work set up for the following day to have can lights installed in our family room. His estimate was fair and his workers arrived at the promised time. The workers draped plastic over everything and really worked hard on keeping the dust to a minimum. The workers were Mike and Doug and they did such a great job. We were told by Rich that there would probably be about 6 small holes in the ceiling that would require some patch work after the job was completed. Mike and Doug were able to tie into something and did not have to cut the small holes like they thought they had to do. Within a half an hour after Mike and Doug left, I received a call from Rich. He asked me if I was happy with the work completed.
I would highly recommend Northern Lights Electrical Inc. I'm sure we will be using them again. Thank you Rich, Mike and Doug for being a good, honest company.

I had old horrible fluorescent lights in my kitchen and the ballast was going. They're getting pricey, so I remembered seeing this company's coupon and the picture of how my lights could be. Well to my surprise, not only was the price reasonable, especially given that the new LEDS will last for 20 years, but the finished product looked even better than the picture. Since my lights were recessed, he took advantage of that area and built a beautiful crown molding around it, using contrast paint to give it a rich look. Now, my kitchen is gorgeous AND the light is much better. The added (included) dimmer switch makes it easy to dim it down when I have company eating and yet, have full light when I want it. Each group of workmen he has come in are real perfectionists and know their job. I loved that he comes to see you after the job to see how you liked it. Rich is great and he hires great people. I've already referred friends to him and he's in my call-first list for electrical work.

Wow! All I can say is Wow! We were starting a kitchen remodel last Spring and had Rich and his team of incredibly efficient, knowledgeable and competent staff come in and redo our kitchen lights. What a huge difference. Our kitchen was no longer in the 70's. Rich was fair and reasonable and he even had a patch company come and patch and paint so that everything looked perfect. It was amazing! After surviving the ordeal of a kitchen remodel we decided we wanted to update some of our ceiling lights to canned lighting. It was a sure bet that we would call Rich. Again, he was fast, reasonable and efficient. His staff was clean, neat and on time. After dealing with a lot of different people in the construction field during our kitchen remodel, there is no doubt that Rich and his staff stand far and above the majority in this field for their commitment to excellence. I received a coupon in the mail, called Rich, he responded within minutes. We set up an estimate for the next day and he was here just before our appointed time. He was knowledgeable and explained the process as well as gave me ideas for light placement. He provided an estimate and we scheduled the work. The job was started in just a few days. His electricians were amazing! They were careful, personable, efficient, and fast. We had LED canned lighting placed in our kitchen, laundry room, pantry, and two hallways. The service was exceptional and the result is gorgeous.
