Rich came out to add canned lights to my condo because it was very dark.
His team did an outstanding job installing the lights in the living room, hallway and 2 bedrooms.
They also replaced 2 original bathroom fans from 1972 that were extremely loud with 2 Ultra Quiet ones.
They were totally dependable, respectful, neat and hard working.
I am so THRILLED with the transformation of my condo thanks to Rich's recommendations and thorough attention to detail during the job and his follow up after the job was done.
From now on I will only use their company with any electrical needs.

Rich Gobbell and his team at Northern Lights Electric did an excellent job of adding ten LED lights into the vaulted living room ceiling (seven art spots and three site specific floods). They also hung my antique light fixture, perfectly centered over the dining table, and added necessary dimmer switches. Rich handled obtaining two permits for the work (Rossmoor and Walnut Creek), the inspection, made sure that the work was done properly to code, plus brought in a top notch painter to do patching and painting. Everything was included in one proposal price and I am well pleased with the results. I highly recommend this professional firm.

The estimate was spot on, the team showed up when they said they would. The were professional, communicative and hyper aware of our WFH situation. I have nothing but great things to say about Rich and the team at Northern Lights. They handled a very complex main panel upgrade and multiple sub-panel installations that included almost a half mile of trenched conduits, and they were fantastic throughout.

I've worked with many contractors and subcontractors, and with time you just have a feel for a ""good shop"" - Northern Lights fits that description perfectly. We hired Northern Lights to do some move-in electrical work to upgrade our new home. Our projects included: installing recessed lighting, setting up our internet, installing a wire-free setup for our wall-mounted TV, adding extra wall outlets, updating our fusebox, rewiring all our bedroom lighting fixtures and setting up an ethernet internet cable in multiple rooms. Rich was extremely responsive, provided a detailed quote in a timely manner (unlike other contractors that leave you hanging at times!) and even gave suggestions of how to save money while still improving upon some of our initial plans. They got us booked and scheduled promptly. Because the work was being done during the pandemic summer, the crew was incredibly professional, meticulous and safe. Every effort was made to follow safety measures and to keep the project areas sectioned off and clean. They were even patient and friendly with my toddler who was excited about her new friends at the house which was so sweet. All the work was well done and Rich checked in throughout the process and afterwards with follow-up to make sure we were happy! Northern Lights is the company that I will continue to use and have already referred my friends, family and neighbors too!

Rich helped us scheduled with PG&E, coordinated every single steps and all their team includes PG&E showed up very on time, really impressive! Their works are excellent, detailed, beautifully done includes matching exact same color paint after patching. Rich is very responsive to all of the calls, emails, texts and very professional.
