I managed to trip the breaker on our low voltage electrical system in the front yard. Eddie just showed up on the day after New Year's, showed me why what I was doing was wrong, got everything working and then refused to accept a payment, indicating that he had been just down the street and it only took him 5 minutes. This is the second time that I have used Norseman, cannot give them a high enough rating. Rand

Disappointed. The initial contact was fast and what seemed to lead to a promising job well done. I was told to send pictures of the job location which I did. After two days there was a reply to my email that the pictures were received and I should expect to be contacted with price and next steps.

Three weeks later and NOTHING. If they are not responsible enough to at least follow up how can I trust them with any work? I called them based on the Yelp reviews...

I called Norseman Electric to get some electrical sub panels replaced at the business I worked and they did an outstanding job. Randy, Daryl, Cynthia, Estobar, and the whole crew had great customer service skills. They were all very knowledgeable, friendly, hard working, detail oriented, and did a great job for us. I will definitely recommend Norseman Electric to all my friends and family. Norseman Electric is a very honest company and thank you for the service.

Based on other positive Yelp reviews, we decided to use Norseman for a repair to our electric meter. Randy came out and evaluated our issue and prepared a reasonable estimate. I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. You can tell he's been doing this for a long time. When it came time for the job to be completed, we had some bumps and unexpected things come up - none of which were Norseman's fault. Randy worked with us to get it all done, and was very conscious of our need to keep expenses down. I also found them to be very experienced in working/coordinating with PG&E. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend checking them out if you are looking for an electrician.

I called Norseman Electric for the installation of a Tesla Model 3 plug on my garage. From the start, they were very responsive and helpful throughout the process. The first step was that Randy came to my home, inspected the site, and gave me a quote. He seems to have lots of experience with electric vehicle installations. Then we set up a day to start wich was very soon after, something that I needed and one of the reasons why I went with this company. During the process, they were responsive, informative, and fast. Something that other companies around Walnut Creek lacked. Then he and another electrician came to my home on time and completed the work very well. He also explained any questions I had related to the installation. In short, I had a great experience working with Randy and company. I will definitely hire them again for other electrical jobs.

Wow, five stars for this company. We just moved to a new house and all the outdoor power went out, which meant no sprinklers during a heat wave. They were quick to help, patient in explaining everything, and fixed us up in no time. They will always be my first call, I recommend they are yours, too!

We had to have a lot of electrical work done in a short period of time in order to make our house safe for potential buyers. Randy and his team worked evenings and weekends to accommodate our need and did an excellent job of making sure they did all the work that was needed and listed in our home inspection. Their attention to detail and customer service was top notch throughout the process as we had moved out of our home and working with them remotely in order to get the job done.

I feel it is my responsibility to relay my experience with Norseman Electric. We had our power go out in most of the house the day before Thanksgiving. The only positive complement I can give is that they came out on Thanksgiving to put a temporary fix on the problem. During the 6 months it look to finish this job, we fell through the cracks two to three times. In my opinion there is little to no communication on their part. We ended up having to replace a main electrical panel. After contacting them several times, they came out a month later. I came home to find that they left my house with no power and my sick spouse who was bed ridden in a house with no heat. They did come out 30 minutes later and apologized. They fixed the problem but no one should have to wait 6 months with little communication and support. They gave me a discount but there was no breakdown on the costs. Their stucco job was just a bad patch.

I would not recommend this electrician to anyone in the East Bay. They have not delivered on their projects/promises on a backyard project that our GC has engaged them on. They will show up, say they have diagnosed the issue, tell us they'll be back tomorrow, and then never show up. This has happened over a three month period NUMEROUS times. They have been incredibly unresponsive, have not held their end of the bargain. Little things like changing out a broken switch they installed (it was defective from the get-go)---they have yet to come back and fix.

Randy came out and diagnosed our issue immediately. Turned out it was a bad GFI plug which he replaced quickly and with one that was weather protected. Very personable, professional. Would hire Randy again!
