How often do you find someone who does the work you requested (replacing two bathroom vent fans), then does added work (installing a new switch to one of the fans, installing a four-way light switch, and installing 3 GFCI outlets), spends time to discuss a potential hazard (Federal Pacific Stab-Lok electrical panel), and also gives advice about easy upgrades that can be DIY-ed?

Probably not often. Even less often do you get all that for LESS than the originally quoted estimate to just replace the two bathroom vent fans.

O, and Brian I talked to my contractor friend about the electrical panel and quoted price (because I like getting a second opinion from people I know) and his feedback was, ""seems like a non-sleazy estimate"". I'm paraphrasing.

Brian was a pleasure to work with. He installed a new circuit breaker box and added a generator plug. He communicated well (he turns his phone off when working on a job so text is the best communication). I was very pleased with the quality of his work and he had the power back on quickly.
