We just recently bought our first home and after thoroughly inspecting everything, realized we were dealing with an original 1964 panel. After moving in we found that outlets throughout the entire house (including one in almost every room and a whole wall in the family room) were getting no power. After asking a family friend for a referral we were advised to give Mitch at No Shorts Electric a call. We called and left a message and our call was returned within 24 hours. We explained what was happening in our new home and Mitch scheduled with us right away to come and take a look at it. After looking at the panel, he explained that what was happening with the inside outlets was probably due to the outdated panel. We were already informed by the home inspector that the panel was undersized for the house and was going to need an upgrade so we felt we were already prepared for the news. Especially after we had previously tried to push one of the breakers in and it sparked. Mitch was great when explaining exactly what they needed to do. I was especially happy that it included taking care of all the permits and patching the outside with new stucco and paint. Everything inside is working perfectly now, and Ed and Kyle that came and did most of the work were diligent and precise with everything. They made sure they covered all their bases and everything not only is working great, but looks amazing too. Mitch also did a great job of checking in with us and making sure we were satisfied with the work from start to finish. The best part of our experience was the price, not only did they exceed our every expectation regarding quality of work, they gave us a beyond fair price! I had two other electricians do work that didn't fix the problem. The problem with flickering continued. I had two more opinions and one thought I would need a whole new panel. I talked to Mitch and he warned it may need a new panel. He came out and worked his magic, he was able to repair and relabel the box for less than the other's charged me to do it wrongly. So after four professionals I finally had the right one to diagnose the problem correctly. He was, honest, quick, and reasonable. I will call on him for any future electrical problems. I am so thankful for Mitch. It's really important to have a contractor you can trust and I trust Mitch!!

I can't say enough positive things about No Shorts Electric! Mitch came out and replaced our very old, and hazardous 100amp panel with a new 200amp panel. It was a big job, on one of the hottest days in OC, but he was professional and courteous the whole time. He did great, clean work. Unfortunately, he had to come back out another day for the inspection, as our city is one of the very few that requires the contractor be present. I know that was a huge inconvenience for him to come back out, but he did with a smile. I will hire No Shorts for any electric job I ever need.

...........A few months later:
We hired No Shorts again, this time to run electricity to our new hot tub. Mitch sent 2 of his completely capable guys out to handle it, and they did great! I wish I could remember their names now, but they were also very professional, courteous, and respectful. Mitch IS the standard, and he clearly holds his crew to the same! Really a standup bunch of guys at No Shorts.
