Was without air conditioning and they were here at the time appointed and solved the problem immediately. Am grateful for their expertise!

Great and fast service! The price was very reasonable! Thanks Nick the laundry is now getting done!

I can't say enough about Nick's service. When I called him, he was extremely polite, and even though he had many other jobs to do, thanks to the ice storm, he had one of his guys, Phil, come out and do a great job for me. Phil even got out the dustpan and broom and cleaned up everything, which my wife was very happy about! Like another reviewer here, if I could give them 10 stars, I would!

We just completed construction of a 1200-sqft metal outbuilding approximately 120 feet from our house to use as a shop/garage/storage area. This was a 10-year-long dream of ours, and we had entered the endgame.
Electricity had to be run from the house to the metal building; the necessary trenching needed to be dug into the caliche rock that underlies our lawn and cross three lines of underground lawn sprinklers.
We contacted four electrical companies for estimates; three were within a few hundred dollars or so of each other.
The fourth's estimate averaged about 50% higher than the rest and proposed installation that was in violation of state code in an ""attempt to meet our price point."" Their justification was since we lived in an unincorporated area, it didn't matter if the installation was out of code . Never mind that our insurance company wouldn't insure out-of-code installation.
That wasn't Nick's.
One of the remaining three was nice, but appeared indifferent about getting our business.
That wasn't Nick's.
One of the remaining two included a ""rock clause"" in their estimate and were very clear they were not responsible for repairing any sprinkler lines that were damaged during trenching. We live on a well from which the sprinklers are directly supplied; cutting a pressurized sprinkler line would force us to secure water to the house until repairs were made, so the perceived indifference about cutting a sprinkler line was unsettling.
That wasn't Nick's.
Nick's Electrical aggressively pursued our business. We told him what we wanted: enough electrical outlets on each wall so we'd have electrical access no matter where we were in the building and sufficient lighting to ensure there were no dark areas in the building. We informed him that we were considering paneling the interior of the building to facilitate the addition of shelving.
After hearing what we desired, he explained to us in easy to understand language what he would do the meet our needs. He presented options and alternatives to keep the ultimate cost as low as feasible. When we expressed an interest in possibly installing a split A/C unit, he suggested increasing the size of the supply breaker to ensure we had the power we required regardless of the size of the unit we installed.
Nick's installed a 100-amp breaker off the main breaker panel in our garage and ran conduit up into our attic, then down the side of our house and into the lawn. They then carefully trenched across the 120-ft distance to the metal building.
They did hit a sprinkler line when the trencher bucked on the caliche. We had already turned off the well pump in anticipation of that possibility, so the rupture depressurized almost immediately. Nick immediately sent someone to obtain the necessary PVC piping and materials to make the repair.
Nick's Electrical did not make a move without our concurrence. They placed the electrical outlets (two quad-outlets on each wall - 32 total outlets!) where they thought we wanted them, then asked us to verify their placement met our needs. When we showed them where we wanted the lighting, they suggested slightly different locations to improve the lighting's coverage. When they borrowed a pipe wrench to make the sprinkler line repair for us, they cleaned it before returning it. When they were finished with the job, the used a broom they found in the building to sweep up their debris.
Nick and his crew were extremely courteous.
Their craftsmanship was superb. Their conduit runs were straight and well secured. Their conduit bends were first-rate. The conduit is run is a manner that facilitates our desire to install paneling in the building.
In addition to the 100-amp breaker they installed in the breaker panel in our garage, they installed a second 100-amp breaker in the metal building's distribution panel, giving us the ability to secure power to be building from two locations. Additionally, they installed a circuit in the metal building's distribution panel that allows us to secure power to the house in case a fire in the garage prevents us from accessing the house's breaker panels.
The distribution panel they installed is sized such that we can add additional circuits should we choose.
We cannot speak highly enough of Nick's Electrical and the work they did for us. Their work was quick (three days from start to finish, with the second day an ""off"" day while they arranged for a more robust trenching machine) and they were very responsive to our needs and requests.
If you are looking for a company to run electricity and wire your metal building, definitely consider Nick's Electrical. They will be first on our list for future work.

If possible I would rate Nick's Electrical 10+. My main breaker a 200 amp kept tripping. I received one estimate for $1400, way more than I was prepared to pay. I called Nick's and spoke to him directly, (not a receptionist) he was very courteous, professional and NICE. He was able to help me the same day. He gave me a price a lot less than the other company. He had his repairman (can't remember his name) pick up the breaker and install it the same day. Fri. Aug. 20th. I would definitely recommend Nick's for all your electrical needs.

Very quick response. Friendly, courteous, and explained everything clearly. I would definitely use Nick's again.

I won't recommend this company, terrible customer service, seems too complicated for them to give a receipt.

As a general contractor based out of San Antonio I rely heavily on my subs and Nick was a lifesaver for me! He went above and beyond to help me with a commercial remodel I was working on in the Dallas area. From meeting with inspectors so I wouldn't have to make an extra trip to hounding the city for permits, he truly made my life so much easier. Nick is extremely knowledgeable and fast, not to mention one of the nicest guys in the business! Give him a call for any of your electrical needs, I promise you will not be disappointed.

They did a great job installing two junction boxes for two mini-splits. Very prompt and competent. Good price, will use them again and will recommend to any one that needs electrical work. Jamie did the installation.Thank you.

Nick was awesome, he was professional, knowledgeable, conscientious about cost, and a very nice guy. He showed up on time for appointment and went out of his way to fix our electrical problem. I most definitely would use him again and would recommend him for sure!
