I called Nick for a small job (garbage disposal replacement) on a Veteran's day. It was getting late so he wanted to move the appointment to next week. I explained the water damage situation and he came in around 6pm. He replaced the disposal perfectly and fixed loose faucet that was originally not installed properly. He had to little creative to fix that. Overall, I am very happy with his service and I would hire again.

Just wanted to give an update as Nick has done even more work for me since the original work.

Originally I contacted Nick to do some work on my mother's condo because she had recently passed away and I needed to get it ready for sale. At that time they did electrical work such as replacing all the outlets and covers and installing GFCI outlets where needed. He also installed a new ceiling fan for me.

Since then I have needed him to address items from the home inspection which he did quickly and efficiently. And then there was the time that I blew an outlet and he squeezed me into his schedule to fix it quickly before I had another tradesmen coming in to do something that required that outlet.


Nick and his crew are kind, courteous, efficient, and by the time he's done doing what's needed he's more like family than a tradesman that you're hired.

2017: Updating my review for Nick since he did some more work for me just recently. I needed to have a couple of window ACs installed, one of which was easy-peasy and the other of which was sort of a nightmare but not due to Nick and Co. The new AC was defective, which we discovered after Nick had framed the window to accommodate the AC's gigantic size. I then had to order a replacement, making for some inconvenience for all of us. However, Nick was willing to return to complete the job even though doing so did not meet his two-hour-minimum. They installed the new unit in short order and were on their way in no time. I appreciate that Nick is true to his word and able to Macgyver challenges that others might be unwilling to take on. I highly recommend him. Thanks again, Nick.

We called Nick to help us out to install cedar tongue and groove flooring in our master bedroom closets....he was on time, quoted a very fair price and we are very happy with the result. This is a fairly simple project and clearly he is capable of a lot more; he discussed some other projects we will call him back for, he has a lot of expertise in electrical as well as carpentry. Nick helped us keep cost down (and get the type of wood we want) by telling us how much to order so we could have it pre-shipped from Georgia and waiting on the day of install. We had been worried about the baseboard because one closet had original baseboard and one was missing baseboard after reconfigured in our renovation last year...Nick came up with the simple but ingenious idea of using the cedar planks to create a baseboard which made the everything look more finished and professional....he took time to cut grooves and fit the wood so everything fit together well.
