We had a power outage that fried one our light switches. I tried replacing it but I couldn't get it to work so I called the the folks over at next level. John and Robert were super nice. They were in the neighborhood and available so they called to see if it was ok if they came early. They figured out the problem and solved it in about half an hour. Prices were very reasonable and they were super nice and wore their masks the entire time. Highly recommend.

Alex was the electrician who installed our manual interlock switch for our newly purchased portable generator. He was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Heather scheduled the appointment and John met with the city inspector who signed his approval within minutes of viewing this quality installation.

All three were of the highest caliber and integrity. I did my due diligence checking out the CA Contractor License Board. Out of the three companies I considered, Next Level was the only one who had ALL of the insurance coverages recommended for homeowners to consider when hiring a LICENSED contractor. I called Next Level after a referral from Swift electric. Jake from NL came out and asked what the concern was. He diagnosed the problem in under seven minutes I kid you not! Turns out that one of the electrical sockets was sparking and had burnt the wires and the box. He basically saved my house from catching fire. I will always recommend them and I will always use them from this point on. They have won my business.

They also recommended insulation/dry-wall + paint contractors that were far better and for a much more reasonable price than contractors in Santa Barbara.

I finally found professional and trustworthy electricians in my area!
After calling a few companies, I decided to go with John (Next Level Electric). I called at least 5 electricians found on Yelp and 3 of them never got back to me. The remaining electricians was either overpriced or too far away from me.

On estimate day - John was prompt and courteous. My appointment was scheduled from 12p-2p. He was at my house at 12p! I was actually late to meet him since I did not expect him to be on time. After looking at the scope of the work needed, we agreed on price. Price was very fair and reasonable!

On work day - John sent Jake and another guy to install my NEMA 14-50 outlet. Both guys were professional and friendly. (Both wore masks). The job took about 1.5 hours (i think..) It felt quick. Wiring was clean and they made the job look simple.


I am very happy with their work! I am looking forward to working with Next Level Electric in our future projects.
