I contacted Nick from NQE along with 7 other electricians through the Yelp app to upgrade my panel and install a Tesla Wall charger. Of the 7, 4 came out to evaluate current setup and give me a quote.

Here is the reasons Nick and NQE earned my business.

1-New Quest Electric was not the cheapest quote, nor was it the most expensive quote. New Quest Electric was the most complete quote of the 4.
It gave every detail of work plan, included permits, cost of labor, and supplies.

2-Nick was informative about his work and what he was installing. He stood behind quality of his work and the product he was installing. Assured me that all his work was up to 2023 code. I never felt like he was talking above my knowledge of electrical, thus he kept the information basic, but completely explained the why's, the when, the how, and the whats of the install. I came away learning something about electric.

3-Nick was prompt and available. Some of the quotes gave a 3 hour window to meet up to see the current panel. Nick was exact to his time. This gave me a good feeling that if I was to hire him, the job would be done as quickly as possible and on time.

As far as New Quest Electric work, let me tell you, all professional and clean. His 2 man team were presentable and friendly. Just like any other homeowner, I was curious to see how they do what they do. Never once did I feel I was intruding on them when they were installing my panel. They answered all my questions and I got a lot of information about my new panel. As far as the work, you can tell they guys are fanatics to having clean bends in their wiring. Most people will never open their panel and see how their wiring is lined up and installed into the breakers. As a Realtor, I've see my share of rat's nest of wires and cables behind the panel board on many home panels. My education from 100's of home inspector and General Contractor meetings, just make me appreciate how NQE's team took their time to do quality work on a part that most people will never see.

All in all, I highly endorse New Quest Electric for your electrical needs.

Had them inspect the breaker box and install some ceiling fans. Very happy with how the fans were installed so I decided to have them also upgrade the breaker box. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician.

I contracted New Quest Electric to have a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed on the side of my house to charge my new EV. It wasn't fully charged coming off the dealership, so I needed someone quick so I could get this thing back to 100% before it'd be a problem.

Nick was very quick to respond to my request, even into the evening to get me set up with an appointment for today, 5/17.

Eric and Oscar came to my house, even earlier than planned! Luckily they were able to grab lunch while waiting for me to arrive. They worked quickly, did a very clean job, and were incredibly friendly. To have such a power-hungry outlet installed by a proper electrician, in the sun, and weathered for anything SoCal throws at us, I'd say $450 was a very fair price.

I would absolutely grab these guys again for a future electrician job.

Getting an electrical panel changed from New Quest Electric is much easier than I expected due to the repnsiveness from Nick and his team. They work hard and cover all steps for you, from getting a permit to patching the wall. EV charger wiring and electrical panel are both professional implemented and passed by inspection. Worh every penny, especially for a great service from New Quest Electric, and hope they continue to offer the same great service in the future.

They came out in an extremely quickly, on time arrival and couldn't have been more professional. No hard selling once they provided the diagnostic results. Work they performed replacing switches and outlets along with diagnostic fees was fair. I would use this company again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

There is so much to thank nick about but mostly nick's technicians arrived on time under stormy (pouring down) weather that shows how professional and take seriously the job they do. Also, I am pleased with the skills and knowledge of his technicians. This is an excellent and trustworthy service to make people like me who have been through lies and bad services from other companies that legit company does exist in this world. ^^
I highly recommend new quest electric company and Nick to those who need EV installation or any related assistance.

So glad we called New Quest to have some ceiling fans installed in our brand new home. Adrian and his partner were great. Wore shoe booties the entire time, Put plastic under each work area and best of all the insulation was perfect.

I reached out to inquire about a quote to install my pendant lights and Nick replied right away. He provided me with a good quote and I was able to schedule the installation at a day and time that works for me. The team called me 30 minutes before their arrival and they arrived on time. They were great! They installed my pendant lights at the length I wanted and were very helpful when I needed to make some changes. They were very careful, covering their work area with plastic and cleaned up when they were done! I 100% recommend New Quest Electric! You won't be disappointed!

The electricians came at the agreed time, they were very professional and courteous, installed my EV charger where I wanted it, completed the job in less than 2 hours, cleaned up after.
