Seems like a nice person, but doesn't return calls or messages. I had a really important need for an electrician and thought I would have one out last Friday. I spoke to him early Thursday evening and we were to speak later that day but he never returned my call or messages. Sent a message last night, called today still nothing. Oh well, found someone to do the assessment for 80% less than the quote I received here. I'm sure they do great work here, but their communication needs some work. If you can't take on a client just let them know, I lost unnecessary time thinking I had an electrician already set up. I needed a very important report before a court case and I lost a whole day because of the lack of communication.

Jose was wonderful. We recently had Central-Air installed and the installer told us our panel could handle the additional load. 2 months later, our panel wasn't handling the load. Jose made us feel like a priority and he could have easily sold us on upgrading to a brand new electrical panel but instead, he fixed our problem at a great rate and said ""in the future an upgraded electrical panel would be a good idea since you have a pretty big load on this old panel but this will get you up and running"". How honest is that!? And we were shocked that he didn't charge us an arm and a leg for the repairs he made. Great rate, great service, great reasons to put his number in your cell phone like I did. Thank you Jose! You will DEFINITELY be hearing from us in the future, especially when we are ready for that new panel.

Jose is awesome in so many different ways.
He installed separate meters for one of my rentals- great, clean, quick work. Very responsive and professional.
One of the main character that's key to any service is ""availability to talk"", I could call Jose anytime and he would answer, gives me a peace of mind knowing Jose.
Today I had an issue with a rental unit, he helped troubleshoot over the phone and fixed the issue!
I would greatly recommend to call Jose for any electrical work!

Jose is the man!!! Had plugs out in all upstairs rooms...had a bad breaker which he fixed and all is well now. Very fair price quoted from the onset. Happy campers on our end . I highly recommend this company ..

Jose and his crew were experts and professional every step of the way!

My husband and I rewired our entire home with the intention of getting central a/c installed. We took the time to get bids from several electricians to compare costs and approach. Our #1 priority was long term safety. Other electricians suggested short cuts despite us telling them that we didn't want short cuts. Jose listened to us and was HONEST. He told us how we could short cut, but suggested otherwise. He explained his approach, taking the time to explain HOW he would do it and WHY.

The crew was on time every day. They were quick - the entire house took less than a week. Jose pulled the permits (less hassle for us).

My favorite part is that they took the time to cover every piece of furniture every day! If you've never had work done in your home this is probably an oversight. This is a small detail that you learn after the first experience. The dust was kept to a minimum and they patched up every hole they made. All these things are value added and worth every penny. I should mention that he's reasonably priced so the value add, was really valuable.

Through the process we mentioned that we intended on buying a new lighting fixture for the dining room. He told us to take our time and that he would come back (at no additional charge) to install the fixture. That's service!

Jose is great! He upgraded our service panel to 200 Amps, rewired our entire kitchen and installed recessed lighting throughout the house.

It started while our home was in escrow, he provided us a bid for electrical work on the house. Jose was prompt and got the bid back to us quickly. Anyone purchasing a new home can understand how important that was for us.

When the time came to finally get the work done he came by to finalize the contract and go over the work to be done. Over the phone and in person he's a very personable guy. Not pushy, not scketchy, just a cool guy.

On the day of our appointment him and his whole team were on time, they started bright and early. Just like Jose, his crew are great guys too. I work with contractors all the time, Jose and his crew made me feel confident the job would get done right.

Sure enough Jose came through with great electrical work and an awesome new service panel to boot.

I'd recommend Jose to all my friends and family.

Jose gets the job done.

We had some knob and tube issues after getting the old rat infested insulation removed (a different company, things like that happen). Jose could not find it the first time (it was dark, it was late, but he tried) but came back with a couple of his guys and they found and fixed the damage done.

Friendly, professional, personable, and more than competent...excellent.

I work in the trades and am looking at having New Light Electric re-wire my entire 1920 Craftsman Bungalow. They were that good.

Edit: We did get the whole house re-wired and are totally happy with the work and professionalism ...good crew and conscientious...highly recommend and any wire jobs I can't do myself, I am calling on New Light Electric. 5 stars all the way.

Met Jose in the neighborhood while walking the dogs in the LBC. Super nice guy right off the bat. Kept his contact information until we needed him to help set-up our jacuzzi, which was a complex task with wiring, concrete breaking, etc. He came out to review the situation then provided us with a detailed estimate. When we called him to schedule the work, he was able to come out the next day. He and his crew are knowledgeable, professional, clean, friendly, efficient, fast and just all around nice people. It seems his knowledge and capacities are well beyond just electrical services. We plan on using his services again, most definitely! Highly recommend Jose & New Light Electric.
