Greetings, my name is Richard Nelson. Over the last 15 years, I’ve worked as a local electrician in the Port Orange and Daytona area, under two different companies before starting my own venture this year. I take great pride in my work, and I possess a wealth of experience in various aspects of the electrical field. I’ve handled many beachside condos, installed three-phase systems, and occasionally tackled fire alarm systems. While I prefer to avoid fire alarms, I can assist if the situation arises. I am licensed as an electrical contractor in Florida. Additionally, I am insured and offer workers' compensation for myself and any staff. I have plenty of references from the community and just launched a Facebook page where you can view some of my smaller projects. I’m currently developing my website. Having spent 15 years in the industry, I previously taught at Daytona State College under the IBEW 756 as the fifth-year instructor. I’ve been a resident here my entire life and have focused my career on this trade. Many of you may recognize my face from working with larger electrical firms. I look forward to doing business with you soon. I come from a lineage of electricians, my late grandfather, Robert Nelson (Bob Nelson), may be familiar to some of you. I bring 15 years of expertise in the field, I’m venturing out on my own and working hard to ensure this business thrives.
