Hello, I’m Richard Nelson. For the past 15 years, I’ve worked as a local electrician in the Port Orange and Daytona area, under two different companies before starting my own venture this year. I truly enjoy what I do, and I possess extensive experience in various aspects of the electrical field. I’ve serviced several condominiums on the coast, dealt with three-phase systems, and engaged with fire alarm systems as needed. I generally stay away from fire alarms, I can help if required. I am licensed as an electrical contractor in Florida. I have full insurance coverage and offer workers' compensation for myself and any staff. I have plenty of references from the community and recently started a Facebook page where you can view some of my smaller projects. I’m still in the process of building my website. We are an emerging company in town. With 15 years in the trade, I previously taught at Daytona State College under the IBEW 756 as the instructor for the fifth-year program. I’ve lived here my whole life and have spent my career in this field. Many of you may recognize my face from interactions with larger electrical companies. I hope to work with you soon. As a third-generation electrician, my late grandfather, Robert Nelson (Bob Nelson), may be familiar to some of you. With 15 years in the trade, I’m stepping out to establish my own business and working hard to ensure this business thrives.
